Very cool!  I love the colors, the theme, and the glow-in-the-dark elements! :D

Thanks!  How about a new quick progress teaser...

Sorry but you are not allowed to view spoiler contents.

I made this doll for the Carnival Swap, organized by RetrodollsUs :inlove: My partner wanted a vintage carnival character. This girl is selling food at the carnival, but she is a very good dancer. She is very good in aerial dances. The director of the circus doesn't allow her to dance yet to teach that we have to work for our dreams and we should never forget from where we started.

Draculaura's Darkroom / Re: A Doll A Day Challenge 2018

That makes perfect sense with how Florianne fits into the rest of the family - and I know what you mean about needing to get other dolls as the head-canon expands.
And that sometimes you take a quick photo, and all of a sudden, there's a whole new part of one of their personalities that snaps into focus.  I took the photo with Amelia and the camera a few weeks back, and suddenly she's a serious photographer

They didn't sell many of the Frightmares here, and I don't think I ever saw the blue cheerleader one, she's cute.
And the fancy Draculaura is so beautiful, I think I said that last time you posted her.  I love the whole extra-gothicness of her.

In keeping with the newly-discovered part of Amelia's personality, this week's photo is her practicing her portraiture skills.  Luckily Diana is a willing subject.  (it was a lovely autumn day yesterday, so I took lots of photos in the back yard)

Remember when MH dominated half of the doll section? Now thereís just a messy stack of $5 budget dolls, crammed into a small section of the bottom shelf at Walmart.

Bleh. Canít say I love whatís happened to the toy industry in the last few years. :/ It feels like everything on the current market is aimed at 4-7 year olds...

All the Walmarts around me only have budget dolls and Minis, Targets are better, they have the ballet dolls, family dolls, and some more non-budget dolls. Fred Meyer isn't as good as Target, but they have an okay selection. Their toys are overpriced though. TRU also had a decent variety of dolls, but due to the liquidation sales they're all sold out of MH, not sure if they'll be getting more in from their warehouse, but when I went almost a week ago, there were no MH dolls left, the only MH toy left was a Cleo vinyl figure, which I bought.

Haven't seen the tea party and hoodies dolls anywhere, I didn't know that they had been released yet since no stores around here are carrying them.

My Target had the Minis and the Ballet dolls the last time I checked and when I went to Walmart yesterday, I didn't find any. The last Walmart I went to before that one only had a few Swimsuits  :( The only place that really has MH is Fry's (a local grocery store), which has Monster Family, the Budget Sweet dolls and the Minis.
