The Alice Through The Looking Glass blind boxes, finally showed up locally.
I have to resist buying several boxes at once. Walked out with Time.
So far I've gotten Alice, 2 different Cheshire Cats (fine with me cuz I love him, we have the standing one and the tail-balancing one) and McTwisp (White Rabbit).

My only other one so far is one of the Tweedles. I'm stopping by Walgreens tomorrow and picking up another box. While Time isn't my favorite character, I do want to collect the whole set. A first for me. Usually I only want a few or just one.

While BTS shopping at Walmart, found Descendant's sig Jay. Unexpected surprise. I was looking for the Neon Lights Ball dolls.

Clothing for period films (or TV shows). I am a sucker for a well dressed cast.
Stunt work, think old school Indiana Jones or similar.
Props. From every day items like cups to weapons and even vehicles. A well dressed set is a thing of beauty.

And I am a sucker for the behind the scenes/making of featurettes, that are often put on DVDs. Have been known to marathon just those (The Hobbit and Lord Of The Rings are excellent for that).

I don't have a cell phone that can play this but I want to play. Can it be played on a iPad (original generation)?
I don't know but I kind of doubt it honestly. I know my old iPad 2 would have been too taxed by it. Also you have to have GPS capability/some kind of cell service which a lot of iPads don't.

Thanks for the reply. I'll just enjoy watching my friends hunt and catch em.

Retro SSC, such a case of the feels. I may pick up one of these, had Lemon with Frappe when I was  little.
Finally found the Alice Through The Looking Glass blind boxes, $8 a pop (ha!). So I only bought one, for now. Hope to go back and pick up a few more. Got one of the Tweedls, I can never tell them apart. :p

I spotted, by accident the display at my Walmart. It was on the end of the isle that has the MH toys. But it was on the opposite end from them. It was next to the Disney princesses/Disney items. Literally hanging on the end cap before you turn the corner. Very easy to miss.

The only one I want is Catty. But I wouldn't say "no" to the others. Like I need the start of another mini collection.  :P

Bought Descendant's Jay on Amazon today. As it is highly unlikely I'll find him (or any of them) in person.

Depends on the doll. If I like the box and or it's a LE. It stays boxed, otherwise I debox.

Off Topic / Re: The "adult" coloring book craze: are you into it?
« on: April 27, 2016, 07:46:59 PM »
Whenever I've seen adult coloring books in stores, they've always been the crazy, intricate designs that make my brain hurt just trying to see the pattern.  I've never really stopped to investigate further.  I'd always loved coloring as a kid, and still clearly remember a few of my favorite books, sad they are gone

I never realized there were actual options when it came to these things.  I just typed in my favorite thing to color (FOOD!) and dozens of books popped up on Amazon.  Now that I know they aren't all the same, maybe I'll buy one:)  I've got all kinds of coloring utensils.  I'd love to put them to use.

Thanks everyone for opening my eyes:)
The most crazy one I've seen is for BBC's Sherlock.

I gifted my BFF the BBC's Sherlock coloring book for her birthday this year. Not to give it away but that is one freaking detailed book. It's not random line art, it's art based on the show and the characters. With some serious minute details.

I've always loved coloring, so these would be a perfect fit. Though honestly I prefer markers to pencils. And I doubt most of the adult ones would stand up to that. Which is frustrating cause I want to color.

Have watched all the seasons and enjoy Murder House and Hotel the best. With NOLA (New Orleans) coming in a close third.
Can't wait to see what's in the works for the next season.

Bunch of small things at Big Lots today. Hair ties, a travel hair brush, shower gel, hand soap, Miracle Grow sticks, shower cap.
That last thing I've been trying to find for three months, who knew it would be so tricky to track down. And it's only $2
I have long hair and need it to put my hair up in while I'm conditioning it in the shower.  And an Alice In Wonderland (from the first film) bookmark off Amazon.

That Sith book is impressive looking.

Is anyone else super excited for the Alice Through The Looking Glass mystery minis?! They look amazing!
Me! I want them all. Finding them in the wild is another matter, may have to hunt them down online.
