Sales / Re: 1/4 sales Pair of Deuces (and misc other dolls)
« on: January 04, 2018, 12:46:53 PM »
new updates

What was the first MH doll you purchased this year? I think it was reboot Deuce.

How many MH dolls did you add to your collection in 2017? I *think* 7? The two big ones were SDCC Ghoulia and Weberella, plus Deuce, reboot dance Draculaura, and Cleo with pet, Sig Jane Boolittle and a second Neighthan
Edit: I forgot I bought Sig Lagoona for my sister so 8:)

What is your favorite MH doll or playset purchase of 2017? Definitely SDCC Ghoulia! I had her originally but had to sell her; I loved her so am happy to have her back! Second is Weberella; sold her to buy Ghoulia but found I missed her so got her again:)

What's your favorite MH photo that you took in 2017? I don't think I took any ^^;

What is your favorite memory of collecting MH for 2017? Getting SDCC Ghoulia again! I was so excited to get her and she was loose so even better! (I didn't debox my original so couldn't play with her)

Is there anything else special you want to share about collecting MH in 2017? I actually got around to making outfits/ repainting some of the ghouls I've been meaning to do! Yay!

Do you have any MH resolutions for 2018? Keep chipping away at the making clothes/ repainting list!

What are you most looking forward to from MH in 2018? Not much (don't really care for the reboot)

I de-boxed everything even SDCC dolls as I like to pose them and stuff. I do keep the special ones' boxes though, I recycle regular ones.

I picked money as it seems bills pile up faster this time of year:p I wouldn't say no to a new dolly or JoAnn's gift card though!

We have a woodstove so we tend not to get one until about a week before Christmas (otherwise it dries out super fast, no matter how much we water it :p)

Unfortunately that's not possible; while you could remove the torso there's no hip joints to put legs on (unless you're really good with apoxie). BUT there's an easier solution; just pop her head off and put on body of your choice:)

I have to work but am going to wear the Galaxy makeup to keep in the spirit (hopefully I get it right!). Then I'll be making popcorn hands for the trick or treaters (clear plastic gloves with candy corn for nails and filled with popcorn and adorned with plastic spider or bat rings) and unwrapping caramels for the caramel apples, yum!

Wanted / Please delete:)

Like the subject says! I need two cheap Hunter Huntsman heads and one pair of hands. Can pay with paypal or  maybe trade (don't have much trade fodder though)

Heads must good eye screening (no rubs, wonkiness etc) but eyebrows/ lips can have rubs. I'm not picky about his hair either. Please no marks, bites or nibbles!

Thanks for looking!

My sister loves Adagio! She gets the Sherlock themed ones most of the time but her favorite is the Full Moon tea (which is only available during the full moon).

Draculaura's Darkroom / Re: Disney Fairies Fawn

This is an amazing idea, I love how she looks with the EAH body! Definitely going to do this for my Spike:)

Understood:) I just was thinking of when I was trying to sell some older stock, everyone wanted the tiny pieces lol.

Not really sure but I'll venture a guess around $25 for full stock. From what I've seen the main oufit you can get (sans shoes and ring) for under $10. Her shoes usually are around $5-8. But the ring, ah, that is the holy Grail! I can see someone paying 10 for it.

The problem is selling the outfit has a whole; most people are only looking for the ring as they already have everything else. If you do sell, stress that you won't split the stock.

Just my 2 cents, good luck selling!

Site Support / Alternatives to Photobucket?
« on: July 08, 2017, 05:49:53 AM »
I was thinking of ditching Photobucket and their latest stunt clinched it. I'm looking for something similar to Photobucket (I have a Flickr but save that for "nice"pictures). Currently I use PB for hosting contest entries, commission pics, doll pics, sale items, avatar hosting and random pics

Looking for something:
1. Free!
2. Has editing abilities (doesn't have to be anything fancy but resizing, cropping and basic paint tools would be nice)
3. Permanent storage (ie there was a site I looked at that the pics would be deleted if not viewed in 6 months, don't want to have to worry about that!)
4. Easy to Upload from PC or phone (preferably *without* an app on the latter)

Thanks for any help!
