Love to see more of her!

I hate April Fool's Day. It annoys me to no end, especially since the advent of internet.

Still has its fun moments. ThinkGeek always has something goofy, and the ad for Quilted Northern's 'Rustic Weave' TP was entertaining.

Anyone wanna share some favorite jokes/favorite funny stories? :D

My favorite joke is really subpar to be honest but I love it:

Past, present, and future walked into a bar. It was tense.  :P

Rene Descartes walked into a bar. The bartender said, "Evening, Monsieur Descartes, can I get you anything?" Descartes said, "I think not," and disappeared.

The two biggest arseholes in the whole franchise together at last. It's a shame it doesn't include a Cleo with realistic face-slapping action.

:::snort::: Yes, they couldn't have picked better examples of 'beauty is only skin deep'.

Looking forward to Moanica, at least. And some of the heads might be good bait for younger sister customs. (Holding on to the hope that if we're going to have new headsculpts, that we might finally get a Lagoona that looks as cute and perky as her art!)

Two new Fright-Mares have surfaced via Amazon! Possibly *Merry Trotabout and Leandra Dapplebrush?

"Carousel" Fright-Mare:
"Yeti Deer" Fright-Mare:

*edit: Autocorrect wrote"Terry Totabout."

Eeee! Time to start checking the Frightmare shelves again. <3

( ah, autocorrect. :) There's a reason I don't use mine....)

I don't have a preference as per molded/rooted hair (short rooted hair can look really goofy if not done carefully), but there's no way he looks 19.

Finally getting started on Doctor Who series 9. Happier so far with it than I was with series 8- the Doctor is written as irascible and quirky this year but not so off-puttingly angry.

Spoilered Rant.
Sorry but you are not allowed to view spoiler contents.

So true. One of the things that kept me off FB for a long time and keeps me wary of comment threads is that so many people strive so very hard for *something* about which to be offended.
This, 100% this. Someone, somewhere, will always be offended. I saw posts yesterday actually where people were offended the curvy Barbie wasn't fatter and still portrayed the "pretty white girl."
'Pretty white girl'? So they weren't paying enough attention to see Emoji Girl, apparently.

I get insanely sick of everyone everywhere being offended by everything. *shrug*
You and me both. And it's across the board, not just certain groups of people-most of which ought to know better.

I'd certainly be interested! A really good design, and I'd buy one in a hot minute.

MLPA first, after I realized just how cute G3s are. :) Of course I dropped into the doll section, and followed it over here. Now I'm almost exclusively here- I rarely buy ponies anymore, as my herd has considerably outstripped the display space I had for it.

Here's my Jeremy, a Ken head on an EAH body- the head takes a little modding but the result is a good teen guy doll.

No WIP photos, but here's a link showing something similar.

Diana Rigg/Emma Peel rocked some interesting bodysuit styles.

I just don't think the sales slippage of MH is as mysterious as Mattel seems to think.
Sorry but you are not allowed to view spoiler contents.

Plus, this is not a new way of thinking for Mattel. Starting out with something cute and well detailed, then seeing it lose detail and quality over time is not unusual to Barbie collectors. :(

Actually like the faceup on the new Lagoona. But most of my MH buying is of new characters, so we'll have to see...if all the new and quirky characters are gone, then my MH money will be limited to picking up past guys'n'ghouls I've missed.

It will be interesting to see what changes come with the One World/Tonner merger, won't it? I hope we'll see new dolls, and maybe younger teen girls to go with them. (PGs have gorgeous faces, but they look well out of their teen years IMO.)

2 of them are coming up on Amazon at half price as of right now, if you have somebody who'd like one but they're not in your budget.

So sorry about your MIL! She sounds like the good kind of crazy, and I'm glad you got to know her. Praying that you and the family can remember good things about her for the holidays. Of course you'll still miss her- we're human, we don't take well to hard changes in our lives! But I hope that the fun memories will help soften things a little.

femmephobic, I hope yours was good, at least!
