Has anyone else seen/ read this? Probably confirms that MH is on its way back in some form.

Monster Discussion / Re: Collector Draculaura's stand?

I would suggest dipping the stand in boiling water to restraighten it then weave some black wire around the stand to strengthen it so it doesn't droop again. I can't really think of any other suggestions.

Have you tried softening the shoes by either using a hair dryer or soaking them in hot water? Failing that it's possible that the shoes have fused themselves to her feet.
Regarding her ears, I have several lagoonas and have no issues with their ears. Is her head still pliable, ie squishy? If not then maybe that's an issue from how the dolls have been stored and it's made the vinyl brittle.

If I'm not mistaken, those heads are Monster High Frightmares. Wonder if they're Wild Childz mock ups?

Ah Barker looks cute, I hope to have him and Cleos brother in my collection some day.

Also got Scarrier Reef Lagoona the other day, never got her when they were in shops as the only ones I could always had wonk eye. Also got ghoul fair Howleen on her way to me, she completes my ghoul fair/ Freak Du Chic collection.

I'm very happy to say that I've just got G2 Deuce at last. He never appeared in shops here in the UK and online sellers were asking too much, then whoosh even they disappeared. I paid 20 inc p&p so not a bad deal and he arrived today. Plus he is wonk free, which I was concerned about as I wasn't able to see any pictures of him before ordering. The box had some shelf wear but I'm an opener anyway so no problem. A happy bunny indeed :)

I could never understand Mattel releasing daughter of the Ratking and then give her mouse ears, a mouse tail and calling her Mousecedes :) I do like her though, enough to get both versions of her

In case anyone missed the earlier post, the listings on the Toywiz website have been pulled.

I think they'll just release the info over the web, most stuff presented at SDCC would have been in production months ago. Toy lines won't be cancelled just because a comic con is.

Yeah I remember that SDCC release but it was still Frankie and not a character from Ghostbusters.

The Pennywise and the Grady twins Living Dead Dolls have been (or are about to be) released, IIRC they were shown at this years Toyfair.
Also no MH character that has been released so far has been subject to copyright to keep manufacturing costs down so why go to the expense of acquiring likeness rights to release dolls under what is effectively a 'dead' brand.

I've just checked and those LDDs are all currently available on-line here in the UK.

I'm highly dubious about these listings, why would the twins be 10.5 inches tall, surely they would be shorter than Pennywise as they are little girls, maybe 7 inches high at most? Is there any mention of a two pack? It doesn't make sense. Aren't living dead dolls around 10 inches, maybe a mistake in the listings? Either way I wouldn't be interested in these characters even if they were released.

Definitely Ari would be the best match or possibly haunted Spectra but she will be hard to find.

I adore the Winning Werewolves sports Clawd & Clawdeen 2 pack. Clawd looks really cute with his buffed up body and he's my favourite Clawd of the whole franchise.
I still need G2 Deuce which never got a general release in the UK.

To name a few, I <3 Fashion whisp and scream and sugar nefera with amanita.

I think they're technically G1 dolls, but yes Nefra in that 2 pack is awesome.

Monster Discussion / Re: Understanding Gigi Grant - why scorpion? why pink?
« on: November 22, 2019, 09:19:36 AM »
Ooh, I didn't even know there was a Djinni Whisp character and doll.  I will have to watch the movie over Christmas.

I've had a look at Djinni and I'm a bit disappointed with how similar she is to Twyla (who I don't really like so much).  Even though she's not pink, she's not as cool as Gigi !!

Have you seen the SDCC Djinni that came with Valentine? She's awesome with her poseable smokey trail instead of legs plus you have the option of being able to swap out the trail for legs if you're so inclined. Valentine was also a must have for me so getting the (rather expensive with shipping to the uk) set was well worth it.

Yeah Sweet Screams Draculaura is to die for. Probably my fave Drac of the entire MH line. I really wanted the SDCC Hexiciah .....but living in the UK I was never gonna see it in stores, sigh. Maybe one day I'll snag him on-line for a decent price.

It's been sooo long since I last posted in this thread. It's a complete MH desert here but I picked up the Vampire Kitchen today for 10, not too shabby, even if if I did only buy it for Dracs head because his default body is cr*pposa. Gonna swap bodies with my spare CAM vampire boy.

Yeah new Draculauras skin tone matches EAH Bunny quite well. It makes her the shorter height that she should always have been, I think there are numerous body swap pics out there but I can confirm that the bunny body is an excellent choice.

These things are not made by Mattel though, just licensed.

I thought the overall Mattel doll presence was very weak at T F this year. Last years DCSHG and Enchantimals displays were huge, this year....DCSHG? yeah just put them over there on a table next to that table with Enchantimals...lol
They really focused on Jurassic World this year didn't they?
