I definitely like Whisp, but I don't think she's unique enough for me to pay Ebay prices for her and I don't really like Valentine at all. I think he looks way too much like one of the CAM, just with rooted hair. Kinda disappointed this time around. :(

Didn't buy it myself, but my hubby did get me a MH C.A. Cupid for my birthday. Might have squealed like a little girl...

Random question.

When it comes to doll and looking for them in store, do all of the different characters all have the same number or do they have different ones depending on the character?. I'm asking because I was hunting for a Cerise Hood this weekend and checked before going to the Target store whether or not the doll was in stock (using both the website and the app later on). When I got to the section (which was horribly empty in general, both for EAH and MH), predictably Cerise was nowhere to be seen, so we checked again if it showed up as in stock and it did, so we went and found one of the assistants and asked if he wouldn't mind checking in the back. He went over the shelf again (which I had just done obviously) and said that everything they had was on the shelf and if it wasn't there, it wasn't in stock and that all the numbers for all of the dolls in the collection were the same. Now the guy did sort of seem more interested in going to back to chat and have a laugh with his mates than to help a customer, so... not sure if that's right. It seems a little crazy that they would literally have no more than about 12 dolls in total and when we checked the numbers, the first couple of numbers were the same, but not the last four... so...???

I've had someone go back and find a doll in the back before when it showed up as in stock (Gigi Grant), but wasn't on the shelf. In that case they checked some kind of scanner device (which this guy didn't do either).

Are all the numbers for the individual dolls really the same and will they show up as in stock when they're not? (or did I just encounter an unhelpful assistant?)

Signature Apple White. Stumbled across her at Aldi for $7.99, so she had to come home with me XD

Came across these at a local place called Ollie's. Sorry if someone has posted about them before, but thought I would share.

That Honey Swamp is seriously stunning. Very very cool.

Thanks for the welcome everyone!

I'll definitely be posting some of my random creations soon (will have to do a little photoshoot or something).

XD They are crafty little things. You make up your mind that you'll hold off on getting any more of them and then... "oooh look shiny!"

Definitely a Clara reference. Since her first appearance in Asylum of the Daleks she's been my favourite. The hubby took a bit more convincing but after The Snowmen, he was sold too LOL. I totally get what you mean about the clothes though (I would steal her entire closet if I could), but she doesn't really have a distinct "Hey that's Clara look yet" (no bowties or trench coats), but she's just getting started, so hopefully soon :). The one I'm using for my custom is the Journey to the Center of the TARDIS one. Will post a pic once I get it done or something ^_^

Introductions! / Hiya Everyone

Hi everyone,

My name is Mia and I'm new to this place and I suppose still sort of new to the whole Monster High thing, though I've been looking at them for a while before finally taking the plunge (Honey Swamp was the one who finally made me decide) and Oh my goodness... I think they're trying to take over my entire bookshelf and they magically seem to find their way into the cart when going through Target and the like.

I also collect Ever After High and spend my free time making doll clothes, writing and reading.

Vaguely obsessed with Doctor Who, Disney anything and currently Game of Thrones. Also a huge Potterhead and can't get enough of musical theater. I'm slowly dipping my foot into the world of making custom dolls as well (currently working on a Clara Oswald, but also want to try a Daenerys at some point, but too chicken to try a reroot yet). Can't deny that when I first started taking the factory paint off, my heart stopped for a couple of seconds. Who would have thought that it could be so terrifying!

My favourite dolls I have currently are

Monster High:

Ever After High:

Hands down Maddie Hatter (due mostly to my love of all things Wonderland inspired).

Anyway, sorry for the rambling, disjointed introduction (I never know what to say in these types of things), but just wanted to say Hi to everyone :)
