Sorry but you are not allowed to view spoiler contents.
*Edit*

And today I bought two more dresses from the shop. I obviously have a problem.  :facepalm: XD

And then since it's finally spring, I decided to take some pics of my Eve Sweet with some flowers around the house and outside. She just has such a springy, earthy feel, so I thought she'd be perfect for it. ^.^

ooh, so many beautiful dolls!

Is Emma one of your own works?  Or one that someone else did for you?  I love her eyeshadow, so striking, and not at all what I was expecting from the rest of her face.

Sepia Alice, stunning!  If I didn't have Lottie (Mint du Jardine), I would be seriously considering her as my sole-and-only Alice.

The Butterfly(?) dress is cute on Lily, nice change of oufit.

And every photo i've seen of Isul Gosomi looks like he's about 30 seconds away from throwing himself on the floor and having a temper-tantrum   :clap:

Thank you! And Emma is one of my own faceups, the third and most recent one I've done.

Emma has pink lids! Love it!

Your photos are getting better and better. I like Sepia Alice ones the best, she gives off a sort of "We can do it!" feeling.

BTW, I watched Sepia Alice video, and gave it a like. The shoe test was hilarious!  :biggrin:

Thank you so much! Obviously my test didn't work, because they fell off later in the review. :lol:

When I was a MH completionist, it meant getting every doll from every line. I never managed to achieve it though, because the original SDCC dolls were just way out of my price range, and I stopped trying to be a brand completionist before I ever was able to obtain them. This was also way before they ever made the vinyls or megablocks. They had plushies back then, but I was focused on the dolls and fashion packs with doubles of the dolls to wear the fashion packs.

I'm still a completionist with Toralei, even after selling 90% of my MH collection. But I only own the dolls and her fashion pack, again with an extra Toralei to wear it. I'm just not interested in the vinyls and such, and I don't want to buy something I have zero interest in, just to be a completionist. Been there. Done that. Not again.  ^^;

I like Meeshell but that's it. These new Thronecoming dolls are horrendous and don't deserve the same name as the beautiful originals. I think I'm pretty much done with EAH :(

All joking aside from my previous post, I think most people have given up on the line. It's hardly a shadow of it's former self.

I was a gotta catch em all EAH collector. I still own 159 of them, and don't plan on selling them in the foreseeable future. I just can't bring myself to collect them anymore. They're a completely different level of a doll now, at least for me, and it's not something I'm interested in spending my money on anymore.  :(

Your commissioned girls are so colorful and your customs look great! I've been thinking of trying a MIO Taeyang to be my other Taeyang's husband (He's lonely XD) but I'm a bit nervous. Most I've ever done is changed eyes and wigs and I'm in the process of a rebody. ^^;

Thank you! <3

There is definitely a learning curve with faceups, but I'm actually really enjoying having a go at them. Plus it's really fun to be able to customize them just to your liking. I say go for it!  ;)

Wow they're all so beautiful! Really fantastic job for being your first three.
Camilla is by far my favorite. The purple make-up and brows paired with the cat eyeliner is just so stylish~

Can't wait to see the other Pullips you customize!

Thank you so much! :D <3

She's great!

The lines under her eyebrows are maybe a little thick for me (please note: I'm only referring to my personal tastes and am not criticizing it from the customizing point of view, as I know nothing about that, I hope this doesn't offend you!), but overall I love the shading on her eyelids and my, look at those lashes! So glam!

She looks like nice and sweet girl. Love her.

I totally agree with you on those lines; they're too thick for my liking, too. But they were on the same layer as a bunch of other work around her eyes, so I couldn't wipe them and start over without wiping all that, too, so I just left them.  ^^; I will definitely be working harder to make those accent lines thinner next time, and probably try doing them on a separate layer, so I don't run into that issue again. :lol:

And thank you, my dear. It's nice to have some positive reinforcement on how she came out. ^.^ <3 <3 :hug:

Monster Discussion / Re: How do you guys name your dolls?
« on: March 04, 2017, 12:12:50 AM »
The only dolls I've named are my Pullip customs, and for my first two, their names just clicked when I saw them all put together. My third was named by my mum... but now I'm having the worst time trying to name the two that came in the mail yesterday, and the one I finished a faceup on today. Nothing has jumped out at me for any of them, and it's been kind of frustrating. :huh:

My lovely ladies came in the mail yesterday, and they're all put together now! I still haven't decided on their names, but here they are:

Sorry but you are not allowed to view spoiler contents.

And then I also completed my third MIO kit that I did the faceup on myself, today, as well. She doesn't have a name yet either though. lol  ^^;

I'm semi-happy with her. It was my first time using pastels. I still need a lot of practice, but I at least think she is better than my first two attempts.

Thank you both. <3

I did my third faceup today. It was my first time using pastels. I still have a long way to go in learning/practicing, but I think that she at least came out better than the first two. ^.^
