No problem. :) I hope you're able to find what you're looking for. I'll be sure to let you know if I ever come across them again.

These figures were released by Play Box Toys de Ansaldo for the South American market in 2014. They were sold in tube packaging 4-packs, blind bags, blister card 2-packs, and all together in a travel case ( They used to pop up here and there online, though I haven't personally seen them for sale in a long time. Here's an old listing for them on their website:

Watzit, Count Fabulous , Hissette, and Crescent were all recast from the "Cross Pets" line that was more widely available, while Shiver, Daddy-O Longlegs, Neptuna, and Sir Hoots-a-Lot were unique to this line. I've always wondered if the latter four were simply intended as an eventual second wave to the Cross Pets line that was just never used, only to be reimplemented here.

I haven't seen any of the bugs in stores near me, but I was out of town the other day and stopped by a Target that had just put them out, so I grabbed all three. There were 5 Wingrids, 1 Beetrice, and 2 Luminas, so the case assortments do seem a bit inconsistent.

Have anyone managed to get the UPCs for Twyla, Toralei, and Lumina?

I have Lumina's UPC, it's:   8 87961 46017 9

Edit: Just grabbed Twyla's (8 87961 46022 3) and Toralei's (8 87961 46021 6) as well.  ^.^

I dunno if it's my eyes or what but could someone tell which wave circus draculaura was from? I know she is season 1 and I'm trying to find her but I need to know what wave she is from. I can't seem to see on the list or maybe it's just my eyes.

Thanks in advance!

Circus Draculaura was a part of wave 4, and her code is "D02."

Who's Garret Sanders and what was his involvement?

He created the brand!

I'm almost positive he is no longer affiliated with MH because the designs now are nothing he would come up with! Just saying.

This is the case, sadly. I noticed this message on his Instagram a few weeks ago when someone made a comment on how disappointed they were with the new dolls:
garrett_sander: I'm sorry, I don't work on Monster High anymore. The last season I worked on was spring 2016 (great scarrier reef), but I'll be sure to let the team know.

I'm not really a fan of the POPs, but I like those Rock Candy ones, especially Draculaura. I've never heard of the Rock Candy line, though. How big are they?

The Rock Candy figures stand at 5 inches. This video on Youtube shows how Supergirl's compares next to a Pop:

I can't seem to find original Catrine anywhere. I'm guessing she's wave 1 and I haven't seen that wave anywhere. Also, is sleepover Catrine not released yet?

Original Ghouls Catrine was a part of Wave 1. I'm also missing her (and a few others from this assortment), so I'm really hoping it isn't done circulating just yet.

I was just coming here myself to ask if anyone is still seeing Wave 1 on shelves. My local stores were cleared out of Minis for the longest time, and they seem to have switched over to Wave 2 (with some Wave 3) now that I'm seeing them stocked more regularly.

Sleepover Catrine hasn't been released, but will likely be included in Wave 4. I hope you're able to find both figures KittyCourtz!  :)

According to the inventory checker, none of the stores in MA or the surrounding areas have the Halloween ones yet. I am so sad.

It seems that some Walmarts in western Mass may have had them in stock. I noticed a seller from West Brookfield selling a few sets on ebay, so I decided to punch the zip into BrickSeek for that area. While they don't show as in stock, this message shows up for three stores (I don't get any results back from my area):
"Conflicting data was obtained for the above record. A quantity of 0 was returned but at least "Limited Availability" was returned by the store."

I'm on the north shore, so it's just too far for me to check, but fingers crossed that they're making their way here. Knowing my closest Walmart, even if they do happen to get them in, they'll probably sit around in the back forever anyway - but here's hoping!

The glam shots look great for the most part, and I can't wait to see the finished figures. I'll definitely be looking to pick up Cleo and Skelita's Pops.

The one thing throwing me off is how Frankie's neck bolts are attached to her jaw. I know they'd be pretty impossible to do accurately, but it just looks a bit odd to me.

Not sure if this is the right place to post it but the Peri and Perl styling head set is now showing up for preorder on Smyths' site in the UK. This thread says that it's for September 2016 release at Walmart in the US - is it already out there? Smyths are predicting a January release here in the UK for the set:

Not sure if it is a Walmart exclusive in the US but Smyths have had the nameless Goregeous Ghouls, which seem to be Walmart exclusives also? (I asked about this but nobody replied so I may be wrong about that).

The Peri and Pearl styling head is already out here in the states. It went up for site to store shipping at the end of September through Walmart's website, and is now hitting shelves as well. Thank you for pointing out the January UK date - I hadn't noticed it, so I'll add that in.

Both, the 2-headed styling head and Goregeous Ghouls boxes are marked as "Only at Walmart" over here. ASDA has typically received Walmart's exclusives in the past, but I haven't heard anything about them showing up there, so I suppose the 'Just Play' items will be exclusive for Smyths in the UK.

I'd also started to wonder if the Scream and Sugar line was exclusive to Toys R' Us, but it's interesting that Amazon is getting in the 2-pack. I haven't seen them in other stores though, so I wonder if they'll start popping up elsewhere? :wonder:

It's a shame Mattel hasn't really been announcing their exclusives this year -  it's been a bit of a guessing game as to what belongs where.

Wow, what a joke. They clearly stated that Monster High would be a part of the After Party sale, but neither the 2-pack nor Frankie made an appearance. I mean, if they sold out, that's that, but they could have at least updated to let everyone know there was a change of plans.

I was really hoping I'd be able to avoid the scalpers this year.....:hmm:

That nerdy Rochelle is adorable! ^.^

I saw a post on Tumblr from someone who spoke with a Mattel rep the other day that may shine some light on some of the assortment names (they may also just be working title placeholders). The bears were referred to as "Deady Bears," while the blacked out Minis are "Chalk." There's also going to be a glow-in-the-dark series.

So I called Mattel inquiring about some of their upcoming Monster High Minis and their release dates, and was able to acquire a list of new minis, some that haven’t even been announced yet:

So we’ll be getting an athlete line, a geek shriek line, a “chalk” line, a glow in the dark line and Gigi will be returning in addition to the ones that were already announced.

I consider the First Day of School doll to be Ari's signature look. She's the most articulated of the three, and the Frankie and Draculaura in her assortment appear to be their characters' standard look in the merchandise now as well.

This question made me think of other questions.

Can reboot dolls use old school stands?
If not, can they use EAH stands?

I've been using the old MH stands on the reboot dolls and they work just fine.
