For anyone in the UK: Debenhams currently has a sale on and their EAH dolls were priced at 10 but scanned through at 6! The one near me had sig. Raven, Maddie and Briar.

For me this is very different between MH and EAH.

With EAH I love reading the books and watching the webisodes and I can't separate the dolls from the characters. I will 100% buy a doll based on how much I like the book character and don't really judge on the doll anywhere near as much.

For MH it's exactly the opposite. I will originally choose a doll based on how beautiful I think it is and then come up with its own personality. I started reading one of the books and stopped because it wasn't how I see the characters at all.

I'd be interested if anyone else feels the same about this or the other way around?

Thank you for the welcomes :)
I'm definitely going to put up some if my photos soon. I've just decided to take the plunge and wash and restyle Rochelle's hair, so hopefully she will look even more photo ready!

Introductions! / Hello :)

Hello! I'm a 23 year old girl (lady!?) from Norfolk, UK.
I bought my first Monster High doll about a week ago, pretty much on a whim. I've been vaguely aware of them for a while but have finally decided that I'm not going to worry about what people think about me owning dolls! I already have some really geeky hobbies (World of Warcraft is the main one at the minute) and I definitely have a collecting personality - I work in museums and tend to apply standards of collections management to anything I own :P

My only doll at the minute is Ghoul's Night Out Rochelle and I absolutely love her! I'm hoping to get some more dolls for Christmas, both Monster High and Ever After High. I'm currently halfway through a marathon of the EAH webisodes and I need some dolls!

I'm really looking forward to chatting to people who know more about doll collecting than me and hopefully picking up some tips on photographing my dolls... I love snapping Rochelle but they don't tend to turn out well.
