They've been found in Houston! Looks like Target to me?
It didn't occur to me at all that these three were connected with the party hair Draculaura.
Excitement! Looks like Wal-Mart to me.

I finally decided on which fabrics to use (it was a hard choice since I have tons of cute fabric, most of it imported from Japan) and got the pattern pieces cut out and gathered any trims, lace, buttons and anything else that might go with it. Now it's just a matter of sewing it together. Unfortunately, I accidentally cut one of my finger tips on a can lid while preparing dinner tonight, and it hurts if I touch it at all, even through the band-aid, so I guess once it heals a bit, I'll have to sew like crazy to get it finished. Since I don't have a sewing machine, I have to do everything by hand, which is unfortunately slower. I think I'm better off, though, if the amount of time my mom spends swearing at her machine when she uses it is any indication. lolSewing doll clothes on a machine is even more annoying than sewing people-sized things on a machine. Hand-sewing is the way to go.
I do both. My mom gave me an Singer Featherweight *very kind gift* with a super narrow presser foot. It's ssooooo much easier to sew with. Still can't do sleeves and stuff on it tho.

Sorry if this is wrong place to ask that, but do reboot dolls have glue issues?
I went and squeezed the heads of Shriekwrecked Lagoona (clearly glue is there but it has some give) and Drauclaura (very hard but no seepage), Moanica (just like SW LG) and Surf to Turf Lagoona (very squishy)
So I've been doing some glue experiments. I'm not sure if they're gonna leak but I am pretty sure that the glue they're using is different then what's been in their heads in the past. 95% of my earlier dolls have the sticky yellow glue that's gross while the reboot dolls are using a white glue that seems more stable. Take all this with a grain of salt cause I haven't tried to boil perm any of the new dolls yet.

Congrats on an excellent purchase! SDCC Ghoulia is soooo beautiful! OH and for the excellent overall Monster High haul! Holt is pretty cool and School's Out is one of the best MH releases IMO.
