Clawdeen's Closet / Re: The smell of Fray-Check.
« on: October 02, 2017, 09:50:22 AM »
You might want to try poking a hole in the tip with a needle instead of cutting it off.  It tends to come out much more slowly that way. I actually keep a needle in my bottle otherwise the fray-check will dry and clog the hole.

There was a Barbie and Ken giftset of Lily and Herman Munster.  You should use her dress as a reference as to what you'd like for your potential seamstress.

I'm worried that I won't see any of them around here since it seems like all of the Walmarts have two to four boxes each of series E. I really hope they come out at all. It seems odd that no one has seen them yet. *fingers crossed*

Oh! I still haven't opened them yet.  Great.  So "F" snuck by and I never saw it? That sucks. I wonder if I will actually see them then.  Weird!

I don't know if anyone has mentioned it, but wave 2 of season/series 2 (the blue lockers) starts with a G. I have been looking for F, and the way the Es are printed, it was going to be very hard to tell them apart.  I haven't opened mine yet, but if anyone wants them I can add the codes. It seems like Target is finally putting out wave 2 now that they have done their toy reset.

I have several too that you can just *have*.  Let me know if you want them.

Oh. Maybe I'm remembering it wrong, but I thought one of the lines had individual colors, but then later they all came in yellow. Eh, who knows. Maybe it snuck in when you weren't looking! Mine are all chucked in a box together, so I'm not really much help!

edit: Looks like it's only Cleo and Ghoulia according to this:

Series 2 are in blue coffins, so they are super easy to spot right now.

I thought one of the beach lines could come with yellow stands?

I have a LOT of them. I wish they weren't so hard to get a hold of in the US.

You can also use a heating pad if you don't want to get your doll's hair wet, and it won't accidently melt anything like a hairdryer can.

The pink and silver boots are from Power Ghouls Spectra, if I am not mistaken.

If anyone is interested, I found the second half of wave one at the store.  The stamped numbers by the barcode started with 365 and they were all the "new" ones.  I basically bought a whole box and got all but two of them, so the pink ones this time aren't quite as rare seeing as how I got the mermaid, the donut, the yeti, and the elephant.  Whereas for the last set I've never acquired a pink one from a store. The packing also seems to be less fixed as I have gotten them in different pairs when I have gotten duplicates.

Help would be awesome.  I'm looking for all six, and I'd really rather not pay $9 each for them.

Oh, it will happily remove paint.  If you look at the description on the manufacturer's website it specifically tells you not to get it on paint as it will remove that too.

Most people that refer to "zit cream" really genuinely mean the stuff you put on your face for acne.

This stuff has removed all kinds of stains for me and, except for blue, hasn't ruined anything that I've tried it on.  It is actually made for restoring dolls and such, so you know it won't have odd side effects later on down the road.

This stuff works really well. It will discolor blue if left on too long.

According to the inventory checker, none of the stores in MA or the surrounding areas have the Halloween ones yet. I am so sad.

Monster Discussion / Re: Have you ever been disappointed
« on: August 26, 2016, 06:59:37 AM »
Another thing that I am disappointed in is Batsy's design. I wanted a bat, not a pinky unidentified creature with weird ornament on her back. I think she's cute and if they announced her as some sort of jungle demon/spirit, I would probably like her, it's just that I wanted bat and I didn't get one.

I wonder if they blatantly avoided a doll with bat wings because she could be construed as demonic or something. She would have been awesome truly batty and it's a shame she's not quite what we were hoping for.
