I don't like the molded body features on gen 2.  But Cleo and Claudine re-bodied are pretty cute.

Monster Discussion / Re: When did G1 end for you?
« on: April 16, 2018, 11:42:07 AM »
Somewhere between Boo York and Great Scarier Reef.  I still loved them.  But I had so many dolls at that point I wasn't getting the same kick out of them.  Then when G2 happened, it just felt like a natural stopping point for me.

I do like the Venus doll and hoodie.  And I always like transparent accessories.

I have to work, because the company I work for is stupid and likes to waste money/their employees' time. :annoyed:

Umm... I really have no idea.  I'm kind of hoping for a night home.  I've been to plenty of New Year parties and kind of feel I reached my limit.  Haha.

Monster Discussion / Re: Your Doll "Deal-Breakers"

Molded on clothing, lack of articulation, already have a similar doll, way too much pink... are often deal breakers for me.  But not as a rule.  Sometimes it depends on what else is going on with the doll.

I have so many dolls right now,  any little reason to keep me from buying a new one usually comes into play.

Most of mine come out of the box.  I do have a Sweet Screams Draculaura still in her box.  That's because my niece also got one and I played with hers.

I do keep my "Little Dals" in their boxes unless there is a duplicate.  I just really love their boxes.  Very pretty.

If I could actually have that "Peace on Earth" thing, I'll take it (without causing some weird everyone dies thing)!  Otherwise, a new doll or clothes would be nice.

Nice! Such pretty dolls too.

I usually put up a little one just before Christmas.

I thought I would share my newest outfit for my Dal girl.  She looks so sassy.  I know Dal isn't everyone's cup of tea and sometimes she does look too mean, but she's really grown on me... darn it.  I keep wishing for more.

The outfit is from MOMOJOJO2017 on Etsy.

Unhemmed/unfinished clothing or molded-on clothing. It just broadcasts "this product is cheap and will come apart" to me.

Same. I also get really annoyed when the clothes have a printed pattern on them, but it is only on the front. It looks so cheap and horrible  :annoyed:
I feel the same way.  I don't mind it on some clothing items that are meant to look frayed.  But when it's clear the manufacturer is just being cheap, I really dislike it.

Already owning a version of a character that I like better than the ones in the store is also a deal-breaker for me.

Oh no!   I'm glad he's ok but to lose a needed vehicle is so upsetting.  I hope he can find a way to get around. Uber can be pretty popular.  Maybe that's an option.

My neck and back always seem to cramp.  It makes me reluctant to photograph any of them.

Have you read "Teahouse of the August Moon" ?   It's an old one but has a kind of gentle humor that makes it rather charming.

I'm glad that she agreed on a few.   One of the things I do when I can't afford all the things or don't want to fill my space up with stuff is to collect images of them instead.  Then, make a private diary describing each of them.  Or, when toy shopping, I take pictures.  It helps me, maybe it will help you?

OK after googling "ROOM GUARDIANS", I fell in love with the wolves.

If I won the lottery, I'd want to fix up my house.   Then, go on vacation.  Then, buy all the accessories, wigs, eyes and clothes I've been dreaming about for my dolls.  Maybe after that, I'll think about more dolls.  Haha.

The artwork is really cute!  I love the hat on the skullettes.
