Has anyone seen these in stores? Since these are likely my last chance to hunt down MH dolls in the wild before they're gone, I'd prefer to hunt for them rather than just order them online :cry: I have been waiting for fairy-esque dolls since day one of collecting!

I can't wait to see what you can do in a year if THIS is what you can do now!! :inlove:
Everyone has recommended the best methods for fixing her head and I really hope they work for you!! Good luck <3

I LOVE the Skull Shores and Gloom Beach packs! I never got a hold of Gloom Beach, but my first was Skull Shores and I LOVE everyone in there!

I made a video analyzing the sales from 2010 until the reboot! I know that doesn't help with the sales currently, but I do know they're VERY poor (hence why Mattel said they're cancelling MH by 2018 or whatever). By the end of the year, we'll have detailed sales reports and press releases to poke into for this year's sales~
I thought it was at Toy Fair, but it was probably a rumor or theory. It's being spread around like crazy and actually worrying me now. Hopefully a strong, new line is revealed at Comic Con to prove it wrong :(
When did Mattel say next year is Monster High's last year?

He's had leukemia for some time, I believe. It's truly a tragedy. He will be very missed. What a wonderful guy who is leaving behind a wonderful legacy. I'm very glad he got to spend his last moments with his family.

FINALLY :D I'm super stoked to read this!!

I've got all up until 2015... And not including boys or SDCC dolls :P If you want a picture, I can get one!

HUGE congrats!! Enjoy her :)

I was at a convention getting picked up by my mom and I was sent a picture of a man riding a bike around the place in an Elmo suit... It was like 90 degrees outside... Then I remarked out loud about it and my dad said, "Oh, that's Dago."
Still have no idea who Dago is or what was going on?

How weird. I got something so similar this morning. "Do you do this for your fans or your self OMG 😲 you have like #100 dolls and your like 5or12 lol my bro he's 7 he wants a winx doll were do you get them from"
It's funny because I went to her Youtube page and she's clearly under 13. People are quick to judge when they're insecure about it themselves or if they think it's different. Don't let it get to you :) People I know who are in college with me know about my dolls and everything and it's not a big deal. You're not a drug dealer or anything! There's no harm in a hobby! Nobody gets pooped on for fixing up cars or drawing, so what's wrong with collecting dolls? They just don't understand!

Most of one character:
Toralei! I have all of them c:

Most from any line:
Freak Du Chic and Skull Shores... missing one from each!

Most multiple copies of one doll?
My only double (triple... :blush: ) is Signature Toralei <3

Most of a release format? (Standard, slim-box, multipack, etc.)
I have all of the signature girls! That's most of my collection.

Most of any kind of touch-up work/customizing?
Full face repaint and reroots on several of my girls!

Most bought in one day?
Oh, man... I bought 13 on my first work paycheck over the summer ^^;

I love watercolor pencils... but I haven't experimented with sealant yet. I'm sure somebody more experienced could help you out with the repainting department ;)
Rerooting is SO MUCH FUN!! I bought my hair from but there are tons of other sources! It really all depends on the feel and color you're looking for. I recommend two bags from Dollyhair's My Little Pony Nylon to start with! (I use about one and a half bags each time!) Dollyhair has $1 rerooting needles, which are really just cut sewing needles, but hers are very nicely cut and don't split the doll's head or explode like the ones I cut used to XD
With clothes, I love Bratz clothes or Monster High fashion packs, but it really just depends what you're looking for! (you can find cheap dolls on eBay)
Here's some of mine, and what I did!:

I haven't redone the face, but it was done in watercolor pencil, which rubbed off during the reroot. I made the clothes with felt and superglue because I couldn't find a sewing needle :blush: ) And the hair is Dollyhair's lemonade. The wings are plastic from a Monster High box that I colored and cut... And they actually move because I made them with the base of some Winx Club doll's wings :)

This one was done with the watercolor pencils as well. All I did was draw her face on and pop a Liv doll wig on her and one of Iris Clops's I <3 Fashion extra dresses.

My watercolor pencils were by Derwent and they were like $20 on Amazon. I am not comfortable with paint, so they were a great alternative for me! Hope I helped in some way :) Good luck! I hope some others weigh in and help you out as well!
(Also, Bratz SelfieSnaps Cloe comes with some cute black glasses and is relatively inexpensive online!)

Good luck with the wonk! I am still scared to order my dolls online unless it's second hand ^^; I hope yours arrive nicely! (and if not, I'd contact Mattel before the seller ;) ) I'm glad I could help <3

You have to upload them to photobucket or some other image hosting service. From there, you just copy the image URL (right click the image and select "copy image address" it might say something a bit different, but it will be similar) and paste it into the brackets {img} image URL {/img}
Of course, replace those silly looking brackets with []
And example would be your avatar, which you would type (with the square brackets) {img};attach=2279;type=avatar{/img} which will show up as
Hope this helps!
