I was so close to buy Jackson but then I was him up against gill and clawd, and I just thought he didnt look correct in the image I had of him. And the square face is an issue I agree with you completely on that.

I do like Garrott face sculpt. I think it looks rather manly and In my opinion suits the doll well.
Whats your opinions on slo mo, as his face and body to me doesn't quite match up to the character from the video. He may be better in person but so far Im not lucky enough to own him. :(

Off Topic / Re: Collecting "too much"? Collector's guilt?
« on: July 24, 2014, 04:38:57 PM »
I feel the same way I only started my collection just over 1 year ago, It started with MH but now I have all of the selfs currently realised and nearly all EAH, except throwncoming briar because I try to stick to a budget.
And now when I look back at it all Im just thinking of the amount I have spent and I feel quite guilty that I have been able to do so when others struggle to get by.
I have managed to stop myself for starting any other collections and now only collect the MH dolls that I really want or that are on great offer (at least 50% off). Its nice to know Im not alone in my guilt.

When I stripped them down the body of my dexter does not quite line up with hunters which made him only 0.4cm shorter, and when clothed hunters shoes also add a little on because of the sole of the shoe is thinker. Now this may just be down to an margin error from the process of production but from first glance it made dexter look a fair bit shorter than hunter. It could also just be down to my eyes or due to the colouring of the doll but to me it looks like hunter is a little bigger than dexter.

It would be nice to see them give the boys the bodies the videos depict them having, and but will garrott Im really happy to see they have given him trouser instead of short, as most of the later versions of the male dolls all have shorts at the moment for some reason.
And with the hight in the EAH guys they Hunter is slightly taller than Dexter so why cant they do that will the monster high guys. This would allow for people to not only show them on there shelves easier with out blocking each of them it would also allow for a more realistic view of the charters. As monster high is all about be unique. I can understand that boys to girl ratio is 10 - 35 so more attention is given to the girls but I would be nice to see hight variation in MH guys seen as they have done so In EAH guys.
I totally agree with you Zapper that the monster high dudes could do with adding some more accessories, it only seems invisi billy.

It would be nice to see the male dolls will a body that is more realistic specially for the athletic characters. They have different size for the female dolls why is it they don't do it for the males.

Is it just me that wishes they would change up the male dolls hair more. I know they change jacksons but there has now be 3 or more of deuce with the small hair. I would be nice to see them change it up a little. I know because of fact his hair is snakes which will make it harder but they managed to for the dawn of the dance and he I believe is the best deuce doll. Does anyone else have any ideas or is it just me on this one? I think a pony tail could be possible.  ;)

Ever After High Discussion / Re: #4 - EAH Discussion Thread!

Has anyone heard anything in regards to hat-tastic cedar, as soon as I saw her I've been waiting for more pictures but sadly nothing has appeared. It just seems a little odd to me that the other three has been released (through small vendors) but cedar hasn't. The only reason I could come up with was to allow the basic doll a chance to be distributed first.

My favourite doll from MH is Venus as I love the fact she is an eco-worrior plus green is my favourite colour. And for EAH it would be a tie between Cedar and Cerise. It is nice to see a whole variety of collectors with there only opinions. Im waiting for the zombie shake dolls to hit the UK then I can add another Venus, also cant wait to see the second wave of coffin bean I did like the first wave but the second wave Im far more interested in.
Considering I havent been collecting for to long I have a rather strong collections with around 25 MH dolls and 12ish EAH. Lucky Ive been able to find nearly all of them on deals so they were all relativity cheep.
Also did anyone else see a japanese style trade mark a while ago, I thought I had but I can find it, I may have just miss read something.

Hello everyone

I have only just joined and wanted to say hello and thanks for having me. I'm a collector of Monster High, Ever After High and the Zelfs. I only started these collections last year so mine aren't as vast as many others, at least for Monster High. I love the idea behind both MH and EAH, using monster and fairy tales to create a new interpretation of these people and monsters. While also creating an array of characters for anyone to get involved with.
Once again thanks for having me.
