They can be pretty pricey.  I saw some completed listings where they sold for $50 plus shipping.

Hope you have a spooktacular day!

I saw the "So where are they?" posts and went back to the first page going "Well this just got made a week ago...wait a's May..."

Where are they....
Where are they? Probably lost to the void of dolly purgatory

Well it could also be because it's the time of year that's always been slow for new releases.
That could be.  Heck, our Walmart is just now getting in ALL of the swim dolls with the molded on swimsuits.  First time I actually saw Clawdeen in ages.

I found this on Instagram. No clue how one would manage to order them tho.
I tried, but the lone forwarding service I could find didn't have any forwarders based in Ukraine, which is where these are from.  And with MH & EAH's demise, the odds of them being available aren't good.

For some reason, the link to the pic isn't working.  When I tried to access it manually, I got an error message.  I finally googled it and came up with the site, but no pictures.  I was able to save this small pic...

She is cute, wish there was a way to get her!

The site is called "Carousell" and it's based in Singapore, but they may also operate in the Philippines.  It looks like it's similar to Craigslist.  I know from previous experience most Philippine sellers will NOT ship overseas bc of the high postage rates.  Don't know if Singapore is the same or not.  I saw many listings that said "meet up only" and after inquiring on FB with some Filipinos for some Jenny items, they said postage is too high - like $50 US.

Carousell also could be an app you have to install.  I see it's in the Google Play Store.

I've been doing some buying on Yahoo Japan auctions thanx to a service called "Buyee", and I found a cute Momoko head for $20 US.  Hoping to find a MTM or similar body for her without paying ridiculous reseller prices.

Happy Birthday to our Administrator, Loa!
Thank you for keeping this place the beastest MH & EAH group on the internet!

I almost expect them to be Amazon exclusive at this point.  It's where the EAH releases have wound up.

If they do, I hope they won't be overpriced.

Reviving an old thread....

I have been seriously considering doing this to my male Fashionistas.  Today I finally got a bait doll to experiment on, a swimsuit Steven.  I also got the ball joints by Hobby Base.  Now all I have to do is find my drill bits and dremel.  This will make a great weekend project!

I got 2 Fashionistas guys - Hip Hoodie (for $25 online) and Color Blocked (for $12 online).  They arrived today and are sooooo handsome.

But in either case, bugs are definitely more of a little kid thing than a tween/teen thing, which is what I think Lynda was saying.

That was my point.  The themes are more geared toward little kids.  I miss the more detailed Fearleading outfits, the more detailed prom dresses, etc.

I guess I didn't clarify myself well enough.  :(
I've since altered the title.  I just wish ppl would't try to resort to quick fixes like using hot glue (instead of a needle and thread) to "sew" clothes.  They don't last that long.

I got a retro check for a large amount, so I invested in Takara Jenny dolls.  I've gone from 20 to 60 dolls in 3 weeks.  I got some in "lots", ex. a set of 12 Jenny & friends, then a set of 4 boyfriend dolls.

I apologize about that.  I was thinking that some girls might be into bugs, but now I realize maybe that's more for boys?  I really don't know.

That is also true about G1 having some little girl type themes too, but they also had some themes geared more toward older girls.  JMO, but it seems like G2 has had nothing but themes for little kids.  *I could be wrong*
The biggest glaring problem for me is that characters like Ghoulia are missing bc she's too scary (or so I've heard).  Spectra is missing but they replaced her with Ari, so I'm not sure why that move was made.  Cleo, my fave, is still around but now she has molded wrappings.  But that's a personal beef.

Lastly, the lack of articulation has been especially disappointing.  The little siblings don't have much articulation (although I understand it might be more costly to do so).

I was willing to give G2 a chance, and still am...even modified some dolls' eyes so they didn't look so big....but  the line now feels more like a variation of Barbie.  The creepy cool factor is almost gone.  The uniqueness is gone.  The whole line has changed.  There are hints of creepy cool here and there, but it's not as obvious as it was in the early days of G1.

G1 ended when G2 came along.  I agree with Carrehz, the new faces ruined it.  But not just that, the themes are all "little girl" focused....insects, fairies (or wings), the ice scream (?) pack, new family me these are all playline Barbie type themes.  The molded on items did (and don't) do anything for me.  The toned down brightly colored clothes and accessories didn't work either.  And the overall "cheapening out" of the whole line was the final straw. I was afraid this would backfire on them, and it looks like I was right, sadly.

I completely agree.  I just wish there weren't so many ppl using it as an alternative to sewing.
