they are cute.. got that whole.. coffee shop vibe..
i kinda want the darling. shes my fave.  not to sure why articulation is a big deal.. if they are cute. Maybe im just an old fogey that grew up on barbies with almost no articulation so it dosent bother me.
i still like them.. links on amazon?

I'm just happy they have articulated elbows.
that is nice.
i rather do want that cupid too.
Wonder if i have to go have a screaming fit at mattel again to get them to release these?
hehe Jk
THo seriously.. the night after i had a hissy fit at mattel on the phone they showed up released on amazon.. the back to school line.
heh
That's because they were sitting in the Amazon warehouses, but the listings weren't turned "On". Mattel probably didn't notice until you said something lol!
heheh
ya think?
SNRK
Here's to having hissy fits at mattel on a regular basis!
Hear, Hear!
You'd think they'd notice they weren't making any money off their new line... :P
one would think.. sometimes i wonder about those folks.

I found Meeshell for $11 on Amazon's warehouse deals so she's my first BtS doll :) I'm excited to finally get a new EAH doll but I'm nervous that I might be disappointed :p
Congrats! I hope you like her!
I loved my meeshells hair.. SOOOOOOOO SOFT.
it took the curl SO easy!
I think you will  really love her

Monster Discussion / Re: The Doll Unboxing Curve
« on: December 21, 2017, 11:12:54 AM »
it depends on several things really.. mainly how busy i am.. sometimes i will have a day off and i will debox as many as i can
(which coincendentally im about to do).
It also depends on if i have a surfit of stands at the time.. ( im keeping bloody eting in buisness lately.. thank you mattel bleh) in amounts enough to get all the ladies and or ocassionally gents on to stands.

Then sometimes the whole "you are now deboss" thing catches up with me at work and im so busy i dont have time to get them out..
I just finished deboxing and restyling a g1 briar beauty.. her hair turned out fantastic.. im really pleased.
Sometimes it takes effort to not only get them out but get them in shape to be seen!!

Monster Discussion / Re: Recommended wall shelves for displaying dolls?
« on: December 19, 2017, 01:37:51 PM »
I think I need to reiterate this - wall shelves. I need a shelf to hang up on my wall. I don't have the space for any shelves to sit on the floor. ^^;
OOOOOOOOOOOOOOOh.. sorry ! my bad.. we call any shelves that go against the wall "wall shelves" where im at!
any way.
In that case there's this lil guy.. i have about five of these and  put my art ref books on them. https://www.homedepot.com/p/16-in-L-x-0-6-in-H-White-Classic-Shelf-Kit-HDRCSW516/206359457
not sure how many dolls they will hold but they hold about 35 art referance books each and are good and sturdy plus in expensive.
hope that helps!!

These look nice, especially that price! I'll have to pay a visit to Home Depot soon, then!
best of luck! they have others too.. i just like the look of these!

I got Maddie, Holly, and Meeshell. They are decent quality, but not amazing. In a way, it's a very sad way to end the doll line. :(
I thought meeshell was really nice.. The hair on mine was super soft. ::shrugs::

Meeshell was my favorite of the bunch. I would give her a 4/5. The other two, would probably get a 3/5 or so. The clothing is all one piece.
Yah..but honestly i dont really have a problem with that.
Its easier to get on and off the doll when you have to do her hair ( seriously i got a G1 briar on ebay and it took me TWENTY MINUTES to get her outta all of her clothes so i could do her hair!). I know thats a big issue for a lot of collectors but i dont have one with it personally. All meehsells acessories were really cute..
the lil laptop and book purse, and i loved her shoes. I WOULD like to get maddy and holly too if they ever go on sale for reasonable prices again.
I think they were a nice addition to the line.
Thats just me tho.

The ones i have in my loft are these
https://www.homedepot.com/p/HDX-36-in-W-x-72-in-H-x-18-in-D-5-Shelf-Plastic-Ventilated-Storage-Unit-127932/100010588
they are very sturdy and if five tiers is too high you can cut them down to four.
each shelf holds about fourty dolls if you are using the typical monster high/ eah stands or these https://www.amazon.com/TING-Holder-Clothing-Support-Frames/dp/B00RX8MZJG/ref=pd_nav_hcs_bia_t_2?_encoding=UTF8&psc=1&refRID=FTKRFAJGPAQ8A6QRX2TE  (tho i suggest you get the purple or clear ones the plastic on the pink ones is a lil fragile ))

hope you find the ones you need!

Has Mattel stopped making these episodes?

There were only supposed to be ten.

I read somewhere that a new series will be coming in March next year.
new season technically
In the UK we use the term 'series', so technically I am correct.
Narf! I did not know that!

Are their clothes just one piece?
yah but again i think thats more of a mattel responding to all the moms complaining about all the itty bitty bits than lack of quality.
