I found a Super Nintendo Classic at Target yesterday! I couldn't leave it behind!

There was a doll show in town today. Mostly older antiques or porcelain dolls, but one dealer had several older Barbies and Monster High/Ever After High. I ended up grabbing a MIB signature Jane Boolittle and a MIB signature Apple White for a total of $9. I wanted to grab more, but the seller was in a hurry to pack up to leave early.

Again, I am SO thankful you've kept this going! I love looking back and seeing what we've said in previous years, but also reflecting on the past year.
What was the first EAH doll you purchased this year?
So according to Flickr, I had EW Blondie in 2016, and I can't find/remember a purchase before my July Amazon order of the rest of the Epic Winter dolls. Crazy!

How many EAH dolls did you add to your collection in 2017?
I purchased the rest of the Epic Winter set; some of the Back to School dolls, and the Castle Playset

What is your favorite EAH doll or playset purchase of 2017?
Probably the Castle Playset. I got it on Amazon for STUPID cheap.

What's your favorite EAH photo that you took in 2017?
I really didn't take many photos, but I guess this one:

Blondie Ella? by Raye Del Sol, on Flickr

What is your favorite memory of collecting EAH for 2017?
Falling back in love with it. I took a break for the first part of the year and just wasn't feeling it. I fell back in love with the dolls and I want to cry every time I think about the ones I'm missing from my collection and that this is probably the end of the line.

Is there anything else special you want to share about collecting EAH in 2017?
Nothing I can think of.

Do you have any EAH resolutions for 2018?
Finish my collection up with the missing pieces and start working on customizing projects. I LOVE rerooting, so getting back in to that again.

What are you most looking forward to from EAH in 2018?
Is this really the end?

Wow! I'm sorry I haven't been by to respond lately but these are some great options! Thank you everyone for posting! I love those Revoltech joints. I'll have to check that out for sure!

My Tuesday Morning had the Welcome to Monster High Dance Cleo for like $6.99 so I had to get her. She's just too beautiful to sit in that crushed box on a shelf

Toys R Us had such a great clearance sale last week that with coupons I got the Deluxe (Deadluxe?) High School for $23. This got me thinking, how many high school playsets did they come out with? Did you ever get any of them?

I am SO shocked at the price of the 2-pack of the Fierce Rockers and GnB Jinafire. There are several dolls that I'm looking for from the older sets because there isn't anything really to search for that's new right now, and WHEW! The prices at some of these!!

Sorry but you are not allowed to view spoiler contents.

AWESOME! And that beats even my Mattel clearance $54 on that high school, which I thought was pretty good.

Where did you get the TRU coupons?

The coupon was in my email on Sunday (9/10) of last week.

OMG. I got the best deal ever. So you know the Deluxe Monster High School playset? Wasn't it like $100+?? My TRU had one left on clearance for $30-something dollars, but I had a coupon for 20% off a clearance item AND they were doing an in-store coupon for 15% off a clearance item. The computer let us stack both coupons and I got that HUGE playset for like $23. I totally did not need this playset, but how could you say no at that price?!

Monster Discussion / Re: Original SDCC Frankie - is $200 a good deal?

I would and I did. I think mine was close to that price. I bought her a few months ago. Honestly, I believe that something is worth what you are willing to pay for it.

*looks around to see if she's the only one still buying EAH*

I got a second-hand Bunny that had been treated with Sharpie by her previous owner, BUT the result is that she now has a stylish dark streak in her hair and black lips, and she looks really cool!

LOL, nope! Thanks to you I got a new Signature Blondie Lockes. I've lost count how many I have now ^.^

I went a little crazy this weekend. I drove about 2.5 hours to a Target far away that actually had the Farrah and Cleo Family sets. I bought Farrah, the Cleo Family 3-pack, a Signature Ari Hauntington, the PB&J Draculaura and Twyla, and a Bug Ghouls Cleo. NONE of those things are available in the Targets/TRU near me, so I had to go crazy when I saw them!

I got Shriekwreck Rochelle and Draculaura at TRU with their 20% of clearance for about $8 each.

piranha whose name escapes me.
Signature, 13 Wishes

unnamed turtle in G2

Lagoona's piranha, named Neptuna, is also included in the Hydration Station Playset with a cute eye mask.

Thanks for that! I had seen a similar video and was trying to avoid the wire. The arms (and I want to apply this technique later to legs) of a MH doll seem much less gummy than those of a Bratz doll, so I don't know how well this method would work.

Customs / Adding Articulation to Non-articulated Dolls

I'm guessing the Customs board would be the best place for this topic. Please forgive and feel free to move if not ^.^

I am seeking feedback on this design. I am trying to give some of my less articulated (cheap) dolls some articulation and this was the first design we came up with. It is two pieces of acrylic that are laser cut (our newest toy!) and then put into the doll's arm. The pegs can rotate within the arm and then hinge around each other. I know it isn't the most attractive design right now, so that is one reason I am seeking feedback.
