I got Journey Girls doll Callie as well as a Journey Girls baking set at Toys R Us.

I had seen the baking set earlier and loved it because it had 18-inch doll sized cannolis (I'm 50% Italian. ), but didn't have the funds for it at the time. So I went back today for it. At first I was super disappointed because they weren't with the other Journey Girls stuff and I thought they had sold out, even though they had had a million of them last time. I looked around to see if there was anything else I wanted, and, low and behold! I found two baking sets at the end of an aisle with a bunch of Barbie stuff!

Yeah, since they're going out of business, the whole store really had no rhyme or reason to it. :hmm:

Also I just fully embraced my attachment issues I have with my baby blanket cause I got a laundry bag specifically so it wouldn't get caught on stuff in the wash. I'm 22 :/

Don't feel any shame about still liking your baby blanket. I'm 16 and I still sleep with mine!

Pharrah de Nile at Target! She's a little wonky but they only had two left and with Monster High disappearing from shelves, I didn't want to miss out. I just picked the less wonkier of the two! XD

Monster Discussion / Re: Seasonal Doll Displays
« on: June 12, 2018, 04:54:13 PM »
There are certain dolls I always keep on display, but I have one shelf dedicated to the Monster High seasonal dolls. Right now, my Skull Shores, Ghouls' Getaway, and Shriek Wrecked dolls are displayed. I set them up with an old Barbie pool playset and they look awesome!

During September I'll display my school-themed dolls, such as Student Disembody Council and Freaky Field Trip. In December I put out my Sweet Screams dolls, because for some reason they remind me of Christmas. And in the Spring months, my Gloom and Bloom dolls get a turn on my shelf.

I swap out my My Little Pony shelf, too. And as for my American Girl dolls, I dress them for the particular season or holiday and decorate their dollhouse accordingly.
If I had the room, I'd be making a ton of seasonal stuff for them- especially salt dough pumpkins. I can't wait to have room for enough room for a FdC and Shriekwrecked setup.
My plan for Halloween this year was to buy a bunch of cheap, doll-sized decorations at Target and/or Walmart. I never even thought about making pumpkins, but that's a great idea. I might try that once Halloween rolls around.

I totally know what you mean about not having space for displays, that why I only have one seasonal shelf! :)

American Girl was having a sale where you could get up to 65% off of select products. I told my parents about it and they offered to buy me some stuff as an early birthday present! I got five things: a couch, a popcorn machine set, a cute little blender and milkshake set, and two sets of pajamas. I'm super excited, and of course grateful to my parents!

My sister and I were getting our hair cut at a salon near our local Toys R Us, so we stopped in. I got DC Superhero Girls Wonder Woman and Harley Quinn at 50%.

Your shelves look awesome! I'm especially loving the G2 section. The Electrified ghouls are so pretty!

Thank you! They are beautiful, love their bright colors! I just need the Walmart ones now!

Best of luck tracking them down! :)

I got the Journey Girls loft bed from Toys R Us at 50% off due to the liquidation sale. Wanted to get some other stuff, too, but my funds are limited right now.

Haven't been to Target in awhile, but at my Walmart there were only the budget dolls. There's not even Monster High in the clearance section. As for TRU, the Ever After High section is nonexistent and the only Monster High stuff they have is Electrified! Frankie, the kitchen playset with Dracula, a lonely Ebbie Blue, and some minis.

I don't know if they're gone because Monster High is so popular that everyone scoops them up, or because they don't sell well and the stores have stops restocking. Unfortunately, the latter seems more likely... :(

Purchased some handmade American Girl doll clothes from Etsy: a pink crop top, floral bustier top, denim skirt, and some jean shorts.

I went to my local flea market and picked up six used Bratz dolls, nine G3 My Little Ponies, and the 2015 Bratz #SnowKissed playset. It cost me $45 for everything.

Alright, so I ordered a ton of bread bags, and theyíre making cleaning and organization a DREAM. :D I wish Iíd known about them years ago!

Now Iím just trying to decide on the best drawers or bins. :/ Iím having apprehensions about canvas, because Iíve had canvas drawers literally disintegrate on me in the past. On the other hand, plastic gets expensive fast, and I need a LOT of bins. Is there a good place to buy them online at a decent price?

The cheapest place I've found plastic storage bins online is Walmart.com. They have 17" x 14" x 10" stackable drawers for around $10 a piece. I use the same drawers and so far it's worked out great.

Sounds perfect! ^_^ Do you have a link to the stackable drawers youíre talking about? Iím having trouble finding the exact ones youíre describing...

Here ya go!

I went on a mini shopping spree on Amazon. I got Kjersti Trollson, Lorna McNessie, Marisol Coxi, Ebbie Blue, and First Day of School Ari. First time in a while getting characters I didn't already have!
