Penalized for taking bathroom breaks, penalized for being even more than 30sec late to work, water dispensers supposed to be full but always empty, the bus to the warehouse costing too much of the small wages they had, so workers started camping in the nearby woods, someone got really sick for repeated UTIs from being afraid to pee, others have collapsed due to dehydration...I'm sure theres more but i cant recall at the moment.
The strike is supposedly all of Prime week, so that in theory its hits them on the day they were supposed to have greatest profits.
Obviously I dont want to support them, but I'm poor, and have several hobbies that you generally need amazon for...

edit: also, apparently workers have gone on strike before, but amazon simply moves location to somewhere new, where they have different labor laws or something of the sort

Um, hate to burst your bubble, but most of those stories have been debunked and the employees that reported these conditions admitted to lying to the press. I've worked for the company for over eight years, and believe me, I would NOT be working there if the conditions were like that. The lack of air conditioning was rectified 6 years ago and it affected one building that was built in the '70s and retro-fitted into an Amazon warehouse. The camping out thing only happened in the UK. US workers have NEVER gone on strike, because we don't have unions. Only the European buildings do and their labor laws don't cover all of the benefits the American workers have. No one stops you from using the restroom, there are water coolers that are connected into the water line for the building so they are never empty. Most buildings give out reusable water bottles to employees when they get hired so they can have water with them at their stations. We have onside medical reps that patrol the buildings at all times to make sure the employees are safe and healthy.

I'm not saying it's the best company in the world, but it's not nearly as bad as those slanderous articles would have you believe.

The big summer clearance has started. Most dolls are 30% off right now, some 50%. By the last week of July, they'll be 70% off. Markdowns happen on every other Thursday.

If modders had known those hands were a one off, I bet Mattel would have sold a ton of 'replacement' parts.
Did they do that often? I thought it was just that torso pack sold online.

^ The people in second/third world countries like China who make the toys themselves are treated much worse than that. But no one cares about these things unless it's happening in a first world country. How sad.

Unless you want a super bobble head, go with a frightfully tall doll
