Can't have one due to my kitties wanting to chew on the cords to the lights and knocking off the ornaments.  But I still celebrate Christmas.

Christmas is coming soon, and many already have their trees and decorations up.
We'd love to see pics of what you've got!  Feel free to share.

Picked up some Christmas-y leggings for myself, cat beds for my 2 kitties, and a Christmas light necklace.

Hi there,

You're not the only one whose feedback isn't appearing.  Mine isn't either.

I found a page with pics of the Jem dolls made by Integrity Toys:

I don't care for them as much as the originals, but that's me.
They also made dolls of the Stingers, Eric Raymond, Graphix, etc.

Welcome Rosanne!

I'd love to see your handmade clothes.  I'm so glad that there are now lots of patterns for them, although I've made some freehand too (not very good though).

No shame in being a grown-up doll collector! :)

Hi and welcome! :)

So have you gotten any of the MH werecats?  They and Cleo are what got me into MH.  Seeing Toralei, I just *had* to have her....then I got sucked in, so to speak. LOL

Enjoy your stay on the forums!

Hi and welcome!

You are more than welcome to post customs of your other dolls.  The only guidelines are that the pics not show any nipples, butt cracks, vagina slits, penis, etc.  Also, in your pics and posts don't  post sexual material including references, violent and/or gruesome material.  Finally, if you post someone else's pic please credit them. :)

Enjoy yourself here!

Hi and welcome!

We love to get to know our members, so out of curiosity, how old are you?  Where are you located?  Got a fave character?

We also have forums to express your creativity, if you're into sewing, customizing, repainting, photography, etc.

Hope to see you around!

How many assorted toy lines have you all seen rebooted over the years? I'm particularly curious in the "Girl Lines", as I have way less knowledge of that.

I have seen brief returns of doll lines like Dawn (6.5 inch dolls originally made by Topper Toys) and Flatsy (originally made by Ideal).  They didn't last long.  Jem dolls got a reboot, Integrity Toys makes them now although I prefer the originals by Hasbro.

I don't think Polly Pocket ever got a TV series, although I love the reboot dolls.

Monster Discussion / Re: Rebodied MH Siblings?
« on: November 21, 2017, 05:55:23 PM »
Yes, I'm rebodying Fangelica on the Enchantimal turtle girl who came with a bike, so she has knee joints (I will be repainting the body).  However, even the standard Enchantimals have ball jointed shoulders, making them more expressive and articulated than the MH little siblings.

I don't have any progress pictures because all of the limbs are currently hacked apart, and poor Fangelica looks more like a murder scene than a doll project

So far the only issue I've come up against is that the Enchantimals have molded-on shirts, and when I sanded that down, I discovered that they have incredibly thin plastic walls on the body trunk.  So a bit of reinforcement is needed after sanding the body down.  If I were to do this again, I'd think of a different way to get rid of that shirt molding.
I wonder if there is something you could apply to the body to thicken and strengthen the walls.  Like maybe Sculpey, or Plastic pellets?  I've heard of people using plastic pellets to make accessories.  Just a thought :)

I keep hoping our Walmarts will get the sig look dolls, but all they have is the family sets, 1 or 2 Garden Ghouls and emojis.  Also, are the Music Class dolls TRU exclusives?  I hardly ever get there but I only want Cleo.

I got a couple of the Barbie Video Game Hero dolls...the ones with pink & blue hair.  Since I have some spare Jenny bodies, I'm putting them on Jenny ones.  I know the skintones might not match but that's ok.

I can't imagine the Big M agreeing to let Hasbro purchase them. But then stranger things have happened...
