Madison looks great!  I believe that the decorations on the neck are gills (like the Gill doll), rather than a necklace.  Fantastic job translating her into doll form!
Monster Discussion / Re: Confused Which Version of Draculaura Did I Get?

I did find something else on google that tells you the differences between each signature release in the characters like for Draculaura it tells you her earrings, skirt, top, necklace, boots, and everything for the wave 1 signature release matched my doll.

That sounds super helpful. Do you mind sharing the link with us? lol

I buy a lot of second-hand dolls and I'm always scrounging pictures to make sure they're complete.

What do you think? by Lynda V.E., on Flickr

Oh my gosh, she is so pretty! :blush: I really like her hair. Is that the wig that comes with the Siren?

Except for the Harpy for which I used parts from the monster maker body.

oooh, I've been thinking of getting those parts for my harpy - are they a good match? :o

In my opinion, they are the perfect match.  It's like Mattel made them for that purpose.

I'm pretty sure Operetta also matches the Harpy (and I'm assuming the MM body too). :opera: She's not a CAM though.  ^^;

Looking for books is harder these days for me  :cry: I'm looking for really specific types of books, could the forum help?

I'm looking for GEISHA-themed books, both fiction and non-fiction. I've read Geisha of Gion, Autobiography of a Geisha, and Memoirs of a Geisha. Looking for more, and not willing to take the risk on Amazon books that may or not be of sufficiant quality.

Recommend away!

Great job!  I love to use old clothes to make doll clothes.

The MM body is a perfect match for the Harpy. :)
As for the Siren....I ended up using a G1 Lagoona body with the elastic leg thingies removed.  I then placed a knob (where the elastic would go) that would hold her torso.  I didn't need to drill a hole since the knob fit pretty well.  I did, however, have to remove a knob from another CAM torso to use.

Lagoona isn't a 100% perfect match but comes pretty close.
