I got some retro money in my paycheck, so after paying bills, I used some of it to get some Takara Jenny dolls, and a couple Palitoy Pippas.  Then I found a gorgeous quilt (king size) at Walmart for $25.  I love the oversized ones.

No problem....Mattel didn't really make that many pants or shorts for the ghouls.  Come to think of it, I don't see too many pants on Barbie either.

If they're for Howleen, would Bratz jeans work?  I know they don't have leggings but they have plenty of denim skirts and pants, and they're the right length for little sisters.  The regular ghouls can wear them too but they're a bit short.

If you don't mind altering a pair of Barbie size jeans, you could use those.  I know Sparkle Girlz outfits often have real denim shorts or leggings.  We have a tutorial on how to alter Barbie clothes to fit MH.

We also had a thread on altering doll clothes (now closed).,8199.20.html

Definitely want to see dolls of Eyera, Jack O'Lantern,. Mantis boy and Skeleton boy.  Or any of Skelita's family. Also the short green haired girl (she has SDCC Iris' skintone).

With all the crazy weather and such going on here, I forgot to post birthday wishes yesterday to 3 ghouls: NinaMarie, Majesty and Tabetha!    :|
So...  :birthday:
and hope you all have a great weekend!

The hoodie line is super cute....can't get into Lala's, IMO baby blues don't work on her....but Venus is too cute!  Still on the fence about the tea party line.

I hope the fact that these pics show articulated dolls means the final product will be articulated dolls too.  No more limited articulation please...

I still have my MH collection which I'll probably keep, and still have several on display.  But instead of buying MH & EAH, I've been investing more into my Takara Jenny collection, and vintage Barbie collection.  Been finding some great deals on MOD dolls like Francie, Casey & Twiggy.  I've also gotten back into Pippa (6.5 inch dolls by Palitoy) some, altho they're a lot more expensive to buy for me.

I've also been collecting some Fashionistas.  Some I get for the clothes and some for their beauty. :)  I've been looking into getting some ball joints to see if I can articulate them.

Ordered 2 sets of a/f ball joints by Hobby Base.  Then I spotted new Sparkle Girlz outfits at Walmart, and I nearly cleaned it out...out of 20 or so new outfits, I got 18 of them.

I'm not personally a fan of the mummy wraps on Cleo since wraps, unlike fur, do come off

That's just the thing. The wraps were never meant to come off. On a "real" mummy the wraps are pretty much part of the mummy. The only thing that's not great about the mummy wraps is we lose our best base for human customs.

Well, in that case if you wanted her just for her human skintone, there are plenty of EAH dolls now that would also work.

And I agree with Konzern.  I love how buff Gill and Deuce are now.  Haven't had a chance to see Clawd IRL yet.

Thanks so much for sharing that! ^_^ What a cute (not to mention affordable) way to expand a dolly wardrobe!

Years ago, I bought a ton of bright/novelty patterned knee-high socks that were being cleared out. Later, I discovered that they were NOT my size. >_<; They’ve been sitting in a bag for years, unopened... All of a sudden, I feel like sewing. :D

I have some videos and tutorials on making doll clothes from other size socks too.
Make an oversized sweater:
Make a crop top & leggings:
Several types of clothes from socks (NOTE:  she uses glue instead of sewing, I prefer to sew)

And here are some images on Pinterest of what you can make with socks:

Since I know a lot of you are Shopkins collectors and also Barbie collectors too, I thought you might be interested in this video on how to make clothes from Shopkins socks.  I especially like that they use the "no-show" socks, which can be harder to use IMO.

They show making them for Barbie, but you could probably alter them accordingly for other dolls like MH. :)

UPDATE:  I just realized the link didn't work.  I've fixed it now.

Nope, they don't.  I don't think they ever had replacement limbs for Holt.

I had to replace my phone bc the headphone output wouldn't work, so I got a refurbished one (same model) for $30 :)
