I really want to like Deerla, but for the same level of articulation Novi Stars Doe A Dear is probably the same size and MUCH better with the execution of the Fawn/Deer girl concept.

Pass

Ha, my exact same thought process.
"Oh, a deer! A female deer! No wait... I have Doe." I love how they are doing so many deer. Isi Dawndancer, the Fawntine Fright Mare, and now this. But having so many also means that I can pick the best one and that is Isi.

No such thing as too many deer.

Eh, when you're a tad strapped for cash, you have to make choices. Isi is going to be my main get, but for short sized, non articulated deer girls - Doe has Deerla beat in every way.

Deerla might end up being even smaller than the Novis tho. I'm pretty sure the Fright-Mares are.
Still seeking Indigo Astranova doll and Chase Twyla Vinyl!!!

Also seeking mini Catwalk Kitties fakies, Avea size Frightmares, this Galaxy Starz doll, these Novi Stars fakies, real Novi Vera Tabray, Twilight Teenz Nemonia. Trades Preferred.

I just can't wait to see them IRL. I'm really looking forward to them
Do you think they'll have bios on website like regular students have? I hope that they are really tiny and that there will be more of them (like there's now more Fright-mares than just the original four)...

Loving Deerla. If she were articulated she'd be a must-have. She may be anyway!

I need to find this Doe Novi Stars? if she's as cute as you all say she is.

I love deer girls! (and deer boys!)

Well, I'm always a sucker for forest fae. I like Deerla the most, but it bothers me that her ears are gold and not the same as her skin tone. The lack of articulation and totally blah clothes is off putting. I wonder if they are small like the old Sailor Moon dolls were... if any of you know what I mean...

Now I wish we had gotten them. If we do eventually get the I'd rather they got nicer/more articulated dolls.

Does anyone remember LEGO Scala? Those dolls were really tiny, but pretty well articulated. It would be cool if Mattel could pull of dolls of the same size and articulation level for EAH pixies and fairies...
I found nude Scala doll on regular LEGO board, for size comparison.

I really want to like these (simply because they are EAH), but they're just not speaking to me.  Maybe when I see them in person.

And Crimson Kitty, I completely agree with you!  I would have been all over dolls of the pixies from Thronecoming or True Hearts Day. <3

I think they're kind of weird looking and I don't think I will be getting any.

I love them so much!! The listing says they're "cute-sized" so it looks like they are going to be shorter after all? :D

is the print on their dresses only on one side (like the new super-budget MH dolls) or is it on both? I can't tell for sure.

Deerla's dress looks to be one-sided to me. The back seems to be a dark green/blue color and seems way more solid than anything on the front.

Edit:
Bird and Rabbit also have a solid color on the back.

Yeah, that's what I was thinking.. Mostly it's just Featherly's sleeves that are throwing me off, since they appear to be double-sided.

Yeah, I had the hardest time finding a section that showed a bit of the back on her. Had to zoom in and cycle through the pics, but there's a bit on the back that shows. Not much, but very definitely a solid color and not the same pattern as the front.

Found these at Walmart tonight.  They were in a PDQ on an endcap in the toys section.  Snatched Deerla and she rang up for under $8.  It was a single tray of them and half of it was MH dolls....

I'll be waiting for these to come up on Amazon, because there is no way I'm going anywhere near Walmart anytime soon. No thank you.
