I'm starting a new Gaming Thread because the old one was too old to reply to.

OMG, Dragon Age: Inquisition  ~flails~ I just finished it for the first time, and now I can't wait for the next installation of this amazing series

Right now I'm so ridiculously deep into Don't Starve....serioulsy, it's ridiculous XD I find myself playing for to many hours and beeing to tired at work. It's a long time since a game did this to me, it was back when Ni no Kuni was released *dreams away*. Doh! Now I have to replay that one too XD

I'm way behind on games. Always am. Let's seeee :wonder: I've recently played Octodad: Dadliest Catch, Five Nights at Freddy's, and I finally beat Donkey Kong Country Returns this past weekend. I was so excited.

Edit: OH! Did anyone watch the speedplay of Yoshi's Island on Twitch during the Gamesdonequick fundraiser?! :freak: That was so incredible. And the blindfolded dude?!

I also watched the Pokemon Red/Blue speedplay and the Animal Crossing one. :thumb:

DA:I was the last game I played and I was just so "meh" that I didn't even finish it. Despite it's flaws I loved DA:2 and the mechanics they introduced and felt like, if they had just expanded on the DA:2 model, made it a little less like an enemy grinder and fetch quest tycoon it would have been flawless. Yes, I even liked the ending.

With DA:I I feel like they took a huge step back from1 and 2 and amped the fetch questing by a million. Yes, they did amazing things with the game like the near endless NPC and party member interactions but that also began to feel like such a drag after a while. DA:1 had an amazing balance between party interactions and fun gameplay as well as an acceptable and fun amount of fetching. DA:2 lost that balance but introduced the amazing rivalry bar, incredible missions (even though they took place in the same place over and over) and unforgettable characters. Inquisition just didn't rise above that.

To be fair, I probably would have been more accepting of the game had I been able to bond the Inquisitor. She/he is just beyond boring.

I know this sounds like a lot if hate but I love Bioware and this game hasn't changed that. I still plan on buying every game they come out with, I just didn't like this one:/

I am also pretty behind on games! I've been stuck in the world of Final Fantasy XIV: A Realm Reborn pretty much since it first came out. Love it, play it daily with my boyfriend. :)

Can't wait for Kingdom Hearts III!

I'm playing nothing at the moment (except for phone games  :what: ). I'm anxiously awaiting Final Fantasy Type-0 HD.... not so much for that game (still excited for it, though), but the Final Fantasy XV demo inside.  :inlove:

I haven't played much in the way of "new" games, but rather replaying some old favorites. My best friend and I decided to replay Fallout 3 (this game is the reason we met in the first place!) a few months back, and now we're both working through Fallout: New Vegas again. Though I've sadly had to take a bit of a gaming break due to spring semester starting. :(

Borderlands is so much fun to play as a couple! I thoroughly enjoyed the first and second games in the series. :)

I have the hugest backlog of games it's not even funny. Everyone should help me pick what to play next as I slowly make my way through. ^^;  I'm currently addicted to Pokemon in ways I've never known and have been devoting my game time to X and Alpha Sapphire. I'm also going through the rest of my Professor Layton games here and there. Just finished up Unwound Future.

Here is my list of shame:

PC/Cross Platform goodness

There are more but I'm drawing a blank on them all at the moment.  ^^;

I have a list a mile long, too. I keep getting distracted by small indie games, though. I should really make a priority list.

The Last of Us was too intense for me. The opening sequence made me cry so much that I really just couldn't get much further.

Totally thought this was going to be a thread about table top/board games ... and was slightly disappointed to find otherwise. Hahaha

I've not been playing much since I'm on holiday, but I have been doing Sim City BuildIt on my phone when I have downtime, as well as old Sailor Moon puzzle games on my PSP (hooray NES and SNES emulators!) when we're on the plane.

I'm thinking about getting a Wii U...if only for Splatton/Smash 4/8 (and Amiibos. I just want Rosalina and Lucario)
