Is there an accompanying thread of "The doll you LOVE that everyone else HATES" ??

I'm trying to think who that would be for me.... maybe EAH Sig Cupid? Everyone seems to think she should have stayed at Monster High. Or all of the newly revealed EAH sigs?! 

I like EAH Cupid more than MH Cupid. I'm not a huge fan of the character in general, but I like her more in EAH.

Are there dolls that are universally hated by the fandom? I mean, other than the centaurs(And they're not final yet) I don't seem to remember anyone without their fans

For MH, I'd say Ghouls Rule and Ghouls Alive are pretty much widely disliked.

I dislike Cleo's character, but I still enjoy some of her dolls. Not sure on dolls I don't like that other people love.... I usually tend to go with the crowd there... maybe GnB Cleo? I don't hate her, but I don't really want her, and everyone else seems to love her...

I hate most of the boy dolls. I think I only have...um...four, maybe five and they are only characters I enjoy in the webisodes. I just don't like the face mold that is used on them, it makes them look like they are 40 rather than teenagers.

And most of the new lines are pretty boring to me, but I don't hate them by any means.

Lala, Cleo and and Spectra are my least favourite dolls. My kids have a couple of each and they just strike me as odd looking. Spectra's face is too gaunt, Cleo's head is too small and always seems overwhelmed by her hair and Draculaura is just kinda blah.

On the flip side, Oppie is one of my absolute favourites and she seems to be one of the less popular ghouls. I'm not super keen on her character in the movies etc, but I don't really associate the dolls with their movie characters, and I adore the outfits on the Oppie dolls!

haha, it's funny you mention her I used to love her character as a child, in the original anime, but I hated when she transformed and there were those purple bows on her bust and bum I never really liked red, but that didn't make me dislike her and that her sailor fuku's main colour is red - in fact, it made complete sense because of her relation to fire. on the other hand, I liked purple, but it still was off on her fuku because of the colour combo, and the combo (not the red in itself) made her fuku totally unappealing to me.

I get what you're saying about the "mature" looking heads. I don't really Oppie that much, and Ghoulia and Spectra are a "no" for the same reason :/

Spectra is someone who I can't make my mind up about... I initially thought I'll love her because of her colours and style, and I was sure I'll own a doll of her - but when it actually happened, things didn't click. this way I got and then sold off Sig Spectra (2nd version), DDG Spectra and DT Spectra. I simply wasn't able to like their faces. at all. the first one I considered keeping was PD Spectra, and now I also have a GNO Spectra, and these versions of her look better to me (I still don't see what exactly is different about the heads, but I know these two have the newer head mold, so I guess I like that more), but I still haven't made up my mind about these either... for now I think PD will stay and GNO will eventually go (I like her hair colour less. I'd love to somehow keep her gloved hands for the ability of swapping though), but I still don't consider PD Spectra a part of my collection either, I like her more compared to the other versions, but I still wasn't able to bond with her.

Me too. I was so happy to finally have a Frankie with predominantly black hair. And Clawdeen with a solid hair color for once was very nice to see! I did redress them, but I like the look to them (once I removed that streak across Clawdeen's head of course).

Aww, thanks. She's one I haven't photographed in years to be honest! I haven't bought a Clawdeen since around the time Ghouls Rule came out! Though I have been photographing Clawd as a transgendered model.,,,

I've never really liked Draculaura or Cleo's attitude. They're just sort of too dramatic for , y taste

Oh, I must also say that I'm not that thrilled for River. I like the concept but the candy color theme is not something I actually like in anything (so not really an issue with the doll), and also I don't hate her, but don't particularly love her like lot if people does
