Had some more fun with my Enchantimals!

I love the coloration on the Rockin' Drum Set Sage. The pops of neon and bright against the backdrop of Sage's more monotone colours is really inspiring.

Thanks! I think that even with the limited articulation, you can come up with lots of different expressions for the characters because of the way their arms are posed.

That's really cute.

Took some more Enchantimals pictures. This time with Hixby and Cameo. I never liked Cameo in her art, always preferred Starly who came in the same assortment, but when I saw her in person my jaw practically dropped. The girl is gorgeous.

Was a real lesson in not taking promo-photos too literally. Starling, who looked gorgeous in promos, has a real far-away stare in real life. Somehow her whole look reminds me of Kim Kardashian.

Hixby is adorable! I've been avoiding getting Enchantimals since they came out because I don't have room to collect anything else, but your pics are so cute that I want some of my own now! I'm sure I have room somewhere... :wonder:

I haven't had a lot of fun photographing dolls in awhile but I was really enjoying my capsule chix and took some pictures of my favorite combos.

I love the poseability of such tiny dolls

Those pictures you took are adorable, but the one I quoted is definitely my favorite. Are the clothes shes wearing from capsule chix or another line?

Itís Capsule Chix. Itís the flocked jumpsuit. I switched out the arms and legs and flipped the belt around. Iíd gotten those pants multiple times and I was finding that whole outfit a bit boring. I like this gymnast/dancer look so much more.

Ooh! I'm not familiar with Capsule Chix, but I love the girl on the left's Ancient Egyptian inspired clothes. Very Cleo-esque. I love her hair, too.

These are all so cute!!! I love how well the Egyptian one goes together. Do you switch up the combos a lot or once you find a look you like, is that its default look forever?

I took a photo of lovely Hansie (Isul Hansel) back in February, but only managed to edit it now. Well, at least this one didn't take years -_-

Thank you respositob and Wynnegen! :hugs:

And yeah, I love those butterfly clips too - even though they are a little weird: the bodies look like female silhouettes with raised arms rather than butterfly bodies. Not sure if it's intentional :P
I was looking for something that makes her head pop from the embrace of the huge hood, and that's when the idea of adding hair clips came up. It isn't intentional, but I managed to place them approximately where his ears would be, and now they look a bit as if they were ears. Butterfly wing ears. There's more weird in this photo than I was planning ^^;

I don't think its weird. Butterfly wing ears actually sound really cool! :P

I'm still loving the level of articulation Capsule Chix have, but sadly almost nothing else :( I wish one days I came across one that I liked, I'd definitely buy it, but sadly their faces (and their skin tone, which is weird because I do have other purple dolls) aren't really my cup of tea :/

I've recently taken some doll photos but haven't shared them here, so here's my attempt at keeping the thread alive :)

Oh my! It's a Tristan doll! I loved Moxie Teenz so much, especially Tristan and Arizona. She looks so well taken care of!

I never personally had one but... still, wonderful memories~

I don't blame you. I have quite a number, but I find that I still haven't gelled with the faces. The eyes are actually quite glassy, and it's not a design aspect I like. I especially don't like how short the necks are, which makes them look kind of odd.

Plus, nobody really points this out but there's a good chance that you'll get one with terrible double-V-sign or double-thumbs-up or double-rock-on!! hands which are useful for exactly one type of picture/pose. Their fabric pieces, like pants, are also a real negative.

The plastic fashions are pretty great though. This is something I'd never say about a normal sized doll line, but  at 4" I'll take as a positive.
