Do all the GNO Venus have a bad eye wonk? Here is mine:

I've been looking for one with better eyes, but they all have wonky eyes. :(

Kurojaki, I once had a GNO Venus with a perfect face up so don't give up hope of finding a good one!

The problem with GNO is finding a box were all of the 4 ghouls have good face up. I went through 40-50 boxes in the toystore and preselected 3 boxes to choose from. That is, only 3 boxes had all 4 ghouls with minor to non eyewonk. Only 3 boxes from 40ish?!
And without being able to be completely sure about  Ghoulia's eyes as her glasses get in the way

This was my poor SwS Ghoulia. I've since traded her at Target for a non-wonky one. But wow, she was bad. I wish they wouldn't package Ghoulia's with her glasses on.

The dolly gods heard you! FF-FI comes with her glasses on a side! *_* (still i think mine is wonky but she was the only one and was looking at me so darn cute that i had no willpower to leave her behind)

glasses or masks have been the greatest issue for early spotting of wonky eyes (before having to go back home to open the doll take off the glasses and dread what might be behind that). That and my sight tired when arriving to the store XP

You're so right about masks and glasses! I finally caved and bought PG Toralei from the Target website. I was so excited when she got here, but when I unmasked her...

*sorry about the quality of the photo.*

I was very disappointed. She's the only Toralei I've really liked so far. I thought about seeing if I could return her, but then she reminded me of someone...

Edit - New pic in reply, scroll down!

Where do I begin?  I got Viperine just about a week ago.  I was really excited to find her, but soon after deboxing I was disappointed..  I didn't realize the snakes on her head didn't come off.  I thought they were part of her headband.  I have kept her, and tried to get over it, but I am not sure I will.  :P

So, since I may end up selling or trading her, I want to know if she has any eye wonk.  I can't see any myself, but I would love to get some more opinions!

Here are a couple pics:

Thanks for your help!

Have you gotten rid of her already? The snakes come off very easily...

Okay I am gonna risk getting pelleted with fakies or worse but gang, they are a toy.  To get the detail you wish with the quality you want, well you would be pay8ing easily twice the price.  I get it is upsetting, and I get it would be nice if they screened each eye where it was supposed to be BUT each of you have eye wonk.  No really, take a nice head on portrait style shot of yourself and then draw a vertical line in the middle of your face, one horizontal line though your eyes and another your mouth.  All humans to some degree are asymmetrical.  The closer you get to being symmetric the more beautiful you are considered in the societies eyes.

So totally get your frustration when they mess up, but I think maybe keep in mind they are a mass produced toy, they are monsters and well I know my face is not symmetrical at all.

Totally get bad quality control issues, sadly in today's throw away market place of the cheaper the better it is hard to get that old time quality control.

I have only noticed eye wonk on one of my dolls, and that is because her wandering eye was basically at her ear! I'll have to take pictures, but for right now she's wearing the Insect CAM glasses to disguise it ;).  She was the ghoul included with the color me creepy lab.

Oh my poor lagoona! I was rearranging, and I always thought mad science lagoona was gorgeous but couldn't quite place what was off about her... Well tonight I spotted it. Her eyes are printed at almost a 45 degree angle! Lol

My husband laughed when I showed him lol all I said was she had eye wonk and he saw it right away. Poor lagoona.

Ugh, I'm so bad at spotting eyewonk--most of these dolls look normal to me.  I hate to think how many wonk-eyed dolls are in my collection!

Yeah, the right eye is bigger and sort of higher. Skelita always looks a little wonky to me, though, even with perfectly even eyes. I think it's just her face mold making her look a bit wall-eyed.

The picture you sent me of this ghoul still gives me the giggles whenever I look at it. Poor thing.  :dazed:
