yay new thread! I was hoping this would happen at 100 pages :D

re: eye wonk, I already told puki this, but I am the WORST judge of it, however, I agree it always looks worse in photos than in person

Yeah I honestly can't see it  ^^;  It has to be super obvious for me to notice a doll has eye wonk. Puki's Scarah looked good to me though.

I can't really see it either.. I think her head being tilted at an angle is making it look worse than it is.

Have the new I <3 Fashion dolls shown up in Canada yet? I'm kinda worried that I WILL see them when I go to the city next week. I'm sure they cost waaaaay too much here. I should probably stay away from TRU altogether. >.>

Guys, I've been thinking about writing to Mattel. It would go something like this:

Dear Mattel,

Thank you for all the amazing dollies so far, I was wondering if we might ever see a kitsune and a faun girl being made for the MH line?
Also, we'd really like some shoe packs, please!

Sincerely, Little Fox

I see the slight wonk but it's not that noticeable.

I think that letter to Mattel sounds good. Hopefully they'll be able to tell you whether or not they have plans to make those monsters :)

PUKU:
I can't see bad eye wonk at all and usually I get bothered by it. HOWEVER.  You photograph your ghouls really closely and if the eyes are causing a problem, you're gonna see it the most. If you want two Scarahs anyway you could get this one and wait, but if it's gonna cause you to postpone your photography of her then see if your friend can find one close by in the next week.

Then again photos can make it worse, so maybe she's gorgeous in person and you will photograph her immediately! (Have you asked for pictures from underneath, like your comparison pics?) To see if they are really bad?

I think anything that lets them know you love their product and that you're expressing interest in further products is good! Hopefully they can pass it on at the very least and say "Thank you" <3  And in that sense I think it's short and perfect!

Maybe explain kitsune or faun girl with a few words to show them what you have in mind. We know what they are, but the email contact may not?

Go for it!

That, and her glasses look crooked.

I wish they'd be a little more free with that kind of information, but when I wrote asking about any plans for another torso pack, they said that no info is available until the products are released, so I don't think email support will be a very good source of info. :/

I just wish that I didn't see find the eye-wonk after I've had the doll for ageeesss.  I check in the store, but sometimes I get one home, love on it, and one day the light catches them just right and bam!  What is seen cannot be unseen :(
There can never be too many large, blue, rainbow-haired monsters!

Rolls around in new tread.  I really only notice eye wonk if it is obviously mis-printed.

I heard a rumor that 13 Wishes Abbey has begun showing up in stores, has anyone found her yet??

I saw her at Walmart yesterday but I was grabbing the GNO 4 pack and figured I'd come back for her after work since there were 2 on the shelf. They were both gone when I went back and the boxes were strewn everywhere. Damn scalpers.

This was in South Florida, btw.

I've been avoiding going to stores and have been laying low on these forums as I don't have money to spend on dolls right now.

I'm happy and jealous at the same time for all of you finding new stuff!  I'm afraid I'm going to miss out on everything since I won't be able to buy for quite some time.  :(

Yeah after the GNO 4 pack, I'm going to have to hold off for a bit. Of course, if I find Scarah, she is coming home with me.

Slight eye wonk doesn't bother me-  most humans have more natural wonk than the dolls, lol

I am bothered by obvious misprints though.   Like this.  https://lh3.googleusercontent.com/-yNLusEUpddY/Uht50owkiLI/AAAAAAAAE8M/eA-TgN9btL4/w920-h687-no/IMG_1395%255B1%255D.JPG

I'm looking forward to Scarah- but since I already have the old version I guess it's not as much of a burning need.

Super happy Catty is being released early every where (mistake or not)

Wonk eye continues to elude me on that scarah. As mentioned before however, I <3 Fashion Clawdeens are just TERRIBLE with QC.

I'd love to get the GNO 4 pack and ILF Scarah! Plus Twyla, possibly howleen, the mad science classroom set, PD oppie, SC Frankie and Holt, and I still haven't got my PD Frankie. Not to mention all of the older dolls I still want! Although now after Puku's comparison shots I hope she doesn't look strange among  my other Frankie's with those different eyes. It almost seems like they're trying to make them more "baby faced" and less "sexy and sultry".
