Collector Draculaura's stand?
« on: June 24, 2020, 04:31:34 PM »
Hey y'all!

I've got a problem with my Collector's Draculaura and her stand. I love this doll, it's one of my absolute favorites from the line. However, she just will not stand (well, keep in place) on the doll stand she comes with. She keeps on falling over and it's starting to get worrysome because I keep her on a high shelf and I'm worried something will break/break one of my other dolls when she falls over.

The stand itself is kinda crappy and always has been, but I think after years of displaying her it's finally started to bend over from her top heavy weight and now I just cannot display her at all without her falling over.

Does anyone have a solution to this? I love this doll, and the stand she comes with is hella cute, but It's just become so cumbersome as of late...

I would suggest dipping the stand in boiling water to restraighten it then weave some black wire around the stand to strengthen it so it doesn't droop again. I can't really think of any other suggestions.
There are many of shades of grey between black and white.
