Help with my MH problem, Please!
« on: April 11, 2019, 10:59:33 AM »
Now i was wondering if anyone can help me with this problem i'm having please with MH replacement arms?
Mostly it's fine, but i've got a few dolls whom i've bought new arms for (well i say new, they are off Ebay) and sometimes the arms don't fully click into place, so it leaves a small gap. I've receantly bought some for Cleo, one arm fitted great the other didn't!

It looks like Cleo has two different top arm parts.  I was also looking at replacement bodies for a Abbey head and the seller  had listed the body as old release and later arms wouldn't fit.

How do you tell if the arms are old or new release, Please? anyone! :)

I think the new release, Gen 2, or reboot, whichever you call it, are bigger or designed differently and won't fit.  It'll be easier to tell the newer ones on Cleo, Clawdeen, Abbey, and Venus because of the molded on wrappings, fur, or vines.  Frankie's molded on stitches might also be on her forearms, but I haven't really looked at her.

It might also be something wrong with the peg if it's an older part on an older doll.  I have a basic Cleo who keeps losing one hand.  No idea why, because it's her actual hand, but it's always falling out.
Sing with me a song of conquest and fate
The black pillar cracks beneath its weight
Night breaks through the day, hard as a stone
Lost in thoughts all alone

I have a Basic Robecca just like that. Her upper arm never stays on!

You might be able to gently sand the peg down a bit so that it will fit
