Dang, so that's it for this year? No Enchantimals even? Toy Fair was pretty disappointing this year.

I'm excited about some of the new Fashionistas, but nothing else wowed me, not just Mattel either. The new Descendants dolls were also really lackluster and I just can't get into many of the new doll lines. I was super-excited about the Wreck It Ralph Disney princesses, but I'm not sure I'm $200 worth excited. For $200 I can buy a couple, maybe more, collectible Barbies and/or SDCC MH dolls I'm missing, so...yeah.

The line is dead
I find it peculiar how the article seems to imply that Mattel is trying to develop television pilots? And Monster high is apparently in one of the 22 slots??https://www.cartoonbrew.com/tv/mattel-announces-plans-to-produce-22-tv-shows-170418.htmlIf MH DOES get picked up... we might see a resurgence?? Cause I noticed on their youtube channel, which is active, their reuploading a lot of the old g1 content, even the ones they removed. Hmmm? I wonder if they're trying to revive?
I'm sure they'll reboot it; nothing seems to stay dead these days, as long as it was at least moderately successful. I'd be surprised if they brought it back so quickly, though :o But who knows.
it will be revived when girls find paranormal stuff "cool" again like they did when the first series came out.
