Repainting a Liv doll, help with eyes?
« on: December 08, 2018, 10:48:21 AM »
So I'm repainting a Liv doll. I removed her eyes for when I took off the factory paint with acetone, but now I'm not sure how to proceed.
Do I put the eyes back in now, but have them get sprayed with sealant when I redo the face? Or do I put the eyes back in after the face is done, and risk cracking the sealant? If there are any alternatives, please let me know. I'd really love some input.

I've never customized a Liv doll,  so I don't know how difficult it is to place their eyes.  But in general you want to do all of your repainting and sealing first and put the eyes in last.  If you spray sealant over the eyes they'll get cloudy.  It's not a good look.

im also not familiar with liv, but perhaps giving them a coat of school glue, doing all the painting, then you can peel it off later and the eyes are clean
