Mermaid Siren torso/arms?
« on: August 26, 2017, 07:18:48 PM »
Was a torso and upper arms ever released to match this set? I know there were blue cam pieces, but now that I look through my stock, I'm not finding anything that matches the actual same blue as the Siren's head?

even the forearms and hands arnt really a good match as they seem to be a factory fbr

There was never a matching toros released for the siren CAM, unfortunately.  When I had when I found that if you had a particularly blue lagoona that it looked okay, but it still wasn't perfect.

Oh, I'm glad to know that too! I have a siren head with no body (along with my 3-eyed ghoul) and have been on the lookout. I'll have to dig her out and see what I was toying with as an idea a while backů.I was going to go with a black/Catty/Wydowna body for my 3-eyed ghoul, at least until I learned about the pegs being bigger on the CAMs.

Most of my cams were completed with the torso packs. Except for the Harpy for which I used parts from the monster maker body.

Although I don't know how easy or complicate is it to get it now.
I would go with Firecracker's advise to find a matching ghoul, though cam parts like arms might need adjustments
It's hard to light a candle, easy to curse the dark instead - Last Ride of the day - Nightwish.

In my opinion, they are the perfect match.  It's like Mattel made them for that purpose.

The MM body is a perfect match for the Harpy. :)
As for the Siren....I ended up using a G1 Lagoona body with the elastic leg thingies removed.  I then placed a knob (where the elastic would go) that would hold her torso.  I didn't need to drill a hole since the knob fit pretty well.  I did, however, have to remove a knob from another CAM torso to use.

Lagoona isn't a 100% perfect match but comes pretty close.

Oh my gosh, she is so pretty! :blush: I really like her hair. Is that the wig that comes with the Siren?

I'm pretty sure Operetta also matches the Harpy (and I'm assuming the MM body too). :opera: She's not a CAM though.  ^^;
