Help identifying hair color?
« on: July 06, 2017, 01:08:52 PM »
Hi guys, I need a bit of help. I am working on a custom  and I wanna use a pink hank I have, the problem is that I lost the original bag for it and I have forgotten what its name is and where I got it from...And I really need to know that since I dont think the hank I have will be enough for the custom.

From what I do know about it is that it is nylon, and it is not Tea Rose, Pussycat, Pink Sugar, Kitten, Fairys breath or Sakura, those colors go toward the salmon pink shades while this one is colder.
So I am pretty sure that I didnt buy it at Dollyhair so that means it most likely came from My little customs or Retrodoll...

Are you sure it's not fairy's breath? The pic on the website looks pretty close to your example photo....

It might be Dollygirl from mylittlecustoms, but the lighting in their stock photo makes it really hard to tell...

Retrodolls has Raspberry Smoothie but it looks too orange imo.

Hope you figure it out! That color looks gorgeous on Briar!

Yea I am very sure that it is not Fairys breath, it is much lighter than this color and it is also more towards the salmon pink shades.

I did look at those colors but I do not recognize the names...

Hmmm.... the only other places I could think of are restoredolls and thedollplanet on ebay. Any chance you might have bought from there?

Links:

(I'm pretty sure we're not allowed to post ebay links on the arena so just do a quick google search for the other one...)

If you think a color's close but don't have it in person to compare it, you can also order a sample set (at least from dollyhair) an see if any match up. Good luck!

Might be flamingo nylon from Retro Dolls :) Our pixie dust seems a bit light, so don't think it's that. From the picture, it looks awfully close to our Raspberry Smoothie
