WildHoney, I love her outfit.

I finished off Amelia's new outfit tonight.  She needs a little plunger & whisk to complete the look though...

RavenLenore - I love his costume!

SwordPony - where did you get the tiny books?  Did you make them yourself??

Amelia got her new shoes in the mail this week - I love her new outfit.

I found them at a craft store. They are suppose to be jewelry but I took the clips off.

Your girl is super cute!

I love seeing everyone's girls and guys!!

Went away for the weekend, and Amelia travelled too.  She enjoyed the flowers in thr garden.

I think that I recognize those! I saw some little books with pages at Hobby Lobby in the charms/jewelry section that were similar, at least.

I'm so sorry. I could have sworn I replied to this thread. They are from Hobby Lobby. I'm hoping to get by there again soon. The lady told me they were expecting a new shipment. There where a few more than I was after.

This thread is inspiring me to get my absolute favorite doll in my collection, my Principessa named Lillith, out for some photos once I get home :) She hasn't been off the shelf in a while.

Post Merge: December 14, 2016, 11:23:59 AM

As promised, here is Lillith, my ultimate grail dolly :) Only one photo of her unfortunately, as she's on her original Type 2 and it's gotten a bit loose and floppy over the years. I'm a bit hesitant to take her off her stand and I handle her like porcelain whenever I pick her up :P I keep telling myself my favorite girl deserves an Obitsu, and she really does, but 1) She's pretty pale, could I find a match? and 2) I'm paranoid that I'd somehow ruin her.

Anyway, here she is 'cause she's lovely.

Principessa is a close match for the White Obitsu body.  Not a perfect match, but close enough that it's do'able.

Thank you! Like I said though, I'm a bit nervous. She's my baby. Back when I first got into collecting dolls, she was the one I saw and I thought 'I MUST have this doll.' I've looked at rebodying tutorials and they seem simple enough, and I've even replaced the eye chips on my one Taeyang so I'm not a stranger to taking them apart, but...Ahhh! I know I'm probably being silly...I would love to be able to pose her properly for pictures, though...

I do not blame you at all.  I'm always terrified the first time that I make changes to a doll... especially a favorite doll.
I still have not even attempted to restring a BJD because I'm convinced that I'll ruined them somehow.  In fact, I hardly touch my BJDs anymore because I'm so scared that I'm going to break them. :(

We got about a foot of snow yesterday, so the only logical thing to do was do a photo shoot of my Marianne in her new wig. I was surprised at how nice the contrast between her rose dress and the barren winter environment worked together.

Edit: Her wig is a soft baby brown, but for some reason it came out redder in the photos. could just be my monitor though...

Thank you! <3

Tragically her left arm broke off at the elbow shortly after these pictures were taken. :(

I was able to super glue it back on as it was just slightly above the joint. Thankfully, as long as I am careful, I can still bend that arm at her elbow and the sleeves of her dress will cover the break line.

Gorgeous photos! I didn't realize how beautiful she is without that over-the-top wig. I really like the one you chose for her. I'm sorry that her arm broke, though. :(

Her original wig was something alright. It kind of started to grow on me after awhile, but I really love her in her new wig. I just wish I new how to better tame the frizz in her ringlets.

After owning her I really can't recommend her enough. She has such a sweet face up, her dress is just over the top gorgeous, and with the right wig she really shines. I really hope to get a pic of her with her eyes closed too, the lids are a beautiful teal blue.

Not to derail the tread but if your looking for a white Obitus let me know. I have a brand new one laying around. I've even fixed the neck already. The head I was trying to buy for it feel through. So I'd sell it to you at a good price.

Such beautiful girls everyone!

Marianne looks gorgeous in the snow.

I got a new-to-me girl for Christmas.  She's Ayanamei Rei Evangelion (Evie for short).  I had a chance to take a couple of pics this afternoon. (These are also on my own thread too).
