I'm seriously considering getting one of these to check it out but I can't seem to stop spending all of my extra cash on dolls...  :annoyed:

Nice to see this thread revivied! t's so cool and interesting to see how common this is!

Wow, that Cockatoo looks beautiful!
Nice and soft colours!

It's so relaxing to colour in all those funny kitties ;-)!
Perhaps you know the magazin "Flow";
it had some adult colouring books as "Extra" several times.
I haven't coloured in those yet.

But I also need the "Game Of Thrones"- adult colouring book!
I'm so into GOT! <3 <3 <3
Thank you!!! I tried my best on that one since I knew it would be a gift, my mom loved it!
I have not heard of "Flow" I will have to check it out...I've seen those ones with kittehs in it, but I think I'd want to get some doggie ones first...
OMG a GOT coloring book would RAWK, but I so am not at that coloring level yet!

Yes and no.  I bought one, and I love it; but the pencils that I bought are garbage, so I haven't actually colored more than half a page so far. XD
I really need to pick up a good set of art markers.  I've been wanting to get a set of Copics for ages.  This is the perfect excuse to try 'em out I think. lol

There's a Star Wars one coming I think? That's the only one I'd be interested in.

I have the Art of Coloring Disney Princess: 100 Images to Inspire Creativity and Relaxation (Art Therapy) and the Frozen one. They're not coloring books, just pretty images and patterns to look at and I enjoy them :) I would like to see a Disney Princess coloring book though and an EAH and MH one would be great too!

I don't have any adult coloring books because I haven't seen one that I really like. My sister has one though and likes it :)

I've used crayons and children's coloring books- mostly really girly stuff- for years. I did recently pick up some colored pencils and a less elaborate mandala "adult" coloring book that I'm enjoying in a different way. It's nice to just focus on the patterns and putting colors together with no correct way to do it. It's like listening to instrumental music as opposed to songs with lyrics.

i just found a bunch of adult disney  coloring books on amazon, but I'm afraid they might be too advanced for me, has anyone else tried the disney ones, here's the one I'm thinking of ordering:

Here are my latest more intricate works, so I am getting pretty good if i do say so myself:

I added three to my collection:
The Chronicles Of Narnia:Official coloring book
A Bad Habit: The Agent Pendergast coloring book
Classic Masters: new interpretations of famous artworks

Though I've only done two pages in the last one. As I am on the hunt for decent colored pens. Pencils just aren't my thing. Sharpie's bleed, Bic's also. Don't mind a bit of bleed through but not massive amounts. So I wait and search.

You should take a look a Hanna Lynn books she draws a lot Fantasy girls like mermaids and Fairys and draws in a style kinda like monster high or ever after high.

Actually the Disney Princess book is INDEED a coloring book for you to put your own coloring in and add your own interpretation... to quote the back cover "Rediscover the Disney Princesses and their faithful companions by reinterpreting these one hundred drawings with your own color schemes" :D

So Shenanigans may have misinterpreted it it seems since it is indeed for coloring by others...I'll be doing my first one tonight XD

Hello,

Some of you are quite talented! I like your last pictures of adult coloring pages, heftysmurf76!

I own a few adult coloring books, plus some supplies...and tons of actual kid coloring books from Disney movies that were released as late as about 2010, but...

Sadly, my hands are still having troubles, and I'm even feeling too much pressure on my skin / bones (I need to make another appointment, because it's apparently not my skin...) when I try to write, so my coloring / drawing days are over for me...at late 30-something...Sad, but true...

I'm just glad that I drew tons of original pictures as a kid...and right up until a few years ago, including a few whimsical posters...and tons of funky shoe designs.

I'm certainly enjoying the fact that I'm able to see what you are doing with these cool new coloring books, though. It's nice to know that creativity is being encouraged on a larger scale nowadays.

Well, I'm feeling the urge to howl at the moon once more...There are too many misconceptions about me being bad, and none of them are true... :(

My mom gave me one for my birthday several months ago...I love coloring in it, but it takes SO LONG to color one picture! And I'm not patient.:P I've been coloring the same intricate sea turtle on and off for ages, lol.

^Your dog pics are lovely! I like them a lot, especially the second one for some reason. :) I'm glad I'm not the only one who thinks some of the pictures take a really long time to color, though:P
