Suggestion: Happy Birthday Subform
« on: March 12, 2016, 06:59:45 AM »
Hi, Mods!

While looking for a particular off-topic topic, I found myself wading knee-deep through a sea of "Happy Birthday, X!" posts in the off-topic forum. There were almost as many HB topics as there were doll-or-other topics.

Would it be sensible and possible to create a separate subform just for HB topics? I love the camaraderie of the topics, and the good feeling they engender, but since there are SO MANY of them, maybe they deserve their own location.

Just a thought!

Thank you :)

I noticed this too.  :)
I think it would be a good idea to post the Birthday threads in Off-Topic like normal, but move them to a Birthday sub-forum when they get un-stickied.

We won't be changing the way birthday threads work at this time. In the end they are an off-topic discussion, and it wouldn't make sense to make a forum or even sub-forum just for them (they wouldn't get as many views...and let's face it, everyone likes to be told happy birthday).
