Shoes for dolls (update Oct, 31st)
« on: February 07, 2016, 12:03:17 PM »
Hi, everyone! It's me again:) Haven't been here for a while... I'm working on finishing my BJD and decided to have a break and make some shoes!

Here are the results of several days of cutting, braiding and glueing:)

Those are cute! My favorites are the gold ones with black lace and the pastel rainbow shoes. What are the shoe bases made of?

These are beautiful!!! So glad to see you back!

Thank you! I have some bases for big sister feet, so more shoes to come soon:)

Those are cute! My favorites are the gold ones with black lace and the pastel rainbow shoes. What are the shoe bases made of?

The bases were sculpted out of clay, I made silicone forms and cast them in PU (smooth cast 305 or 326 for transparent shoes)

How do you even. Because those are stunning!

Thank you:) everything comes with practice! The first shoes I made were far from cute :) I had to remake them later :)

Are you magic? THOSE ARE AWESOME!
I particularly like both rainbow ones and the red ones in the middle

Thank you:) I'm only learning to make them. Everytime it takes a good few hours and still some turn out not so inspiring.

YEY! I so love seeing your shoe creations!
Will any be available at your store?

Thank you! I always make them only to sell)))) I don't know why, but creating gives me more pleasure, than playing

You do such amazing work, hun. Glad to see you back again. <3

Thank you!  <3 :tackleglomp: I'm glad I am creating again:) it's so rewarding to finally see something done and see positive feedback:)

These are cute. I would love to see your process.

Thanks! I'll make pics of the process next time:) Starting with making silicone forms:) I have new silicone I need to test:)

Those shoes are so amazing.  I love them all.  <3

Thank you

Thank you, everyone!

These look really great. Do you do video tutorials? I'd love to see one on the black and red shoes....or boots?

I've never done one. I started making a pair for big sisters and took photos. When they are ready, I'll share the progress. First I need to make silicone molds to make more heels. I hope, I'll have some time for this during the weekend:)
